This has got to be the rudest restaurant we have ever been to. Terrible service! The waitress comes, takes your order with an attitude as if she's doing you a favor, the cook brings the food, waitress never came to check on us nor did she bring the condiment I had asked for...I finally had to wrestle the waitress down to refill our glasses of tea. *Happens every single time we are there!* The staff at this restaurant needs a good course in diplomacy and manners, they are extremely unread on how to treat customers who are supporting their business. My husband and I have eaten here for the past several years and have had enough...The last time took the cake when we were asked to leave because they thought we were staying too long! We had just left the rude waitress an undeserved tip btw that she took of course. There were plenty of other tables with four chairs, ours seated two and they claimed they needed the table for two ladies. What? We've been plenty of times, the two of us, and been seated at the tables for four. This was 2pm in the afternoon and definitely not exactly a waiting line to get into this place. Horrible experience. I was brought up in an old time established restaurant my father owned and never was a customer asked to leave because they were staying too long enjoying conversation! This was our anniversary week and we were having a nice time reminiscing over our 42 years of marriage until these goofs decided to get smart with us. Ignorance gone to seed. If you want to be rushed and treated like a bad little child all the while fainting of thirst while you stare at your empty little tea glass then this is the place for you.
Great atmosphere. Great food. Service is OK. Food was great, would return.
What a place of history. So many things to look at food was excellent Wi-Fi service was not working well (text to be seated) so we waited 20 minutes for a table but worth it ! I’d check in with hostess at the time they give you. All Service hands were working very hard to keep everyone taking care of. Great job !
We visited Woerner's Warehouse during a recent visit to Fredericksburg. We were seated right away and decided to eat breakfast. The food was really good and the atmosphere was excellent.
A definite unique experience dining here and the food is only the half of it. Lots of decor from all time frames and styles for sale here. Want a motheaten deer head? Check. Looking for a table from the 1800s that seats twelve? Also check. Had one of the pizzas for lunch. Delicious crust just right and the right amount of toppings. Also have a delicious looking dessert selection. Definitely a unique place for lunch.
Woerner's Warehouse Cafe is a must stop and eat at restaurant when visiting Fredericksburg! The coffee is delicious, the food amazing, and the service was beyond great. The atmosphere is welcoming and the prices are good. I would highly recommend this place to my closest friends and family.
They had a chicken with veggies soup that was Delicious! My cousin got a cup and then ordered an additional bowl bc it was so good. My sister really liked her house special salad. The woerner works pizza was very salty especially from the olives. My friend didn't like his luckey pie pizza. My other friend did enjoy his margherita pizza.
Check out the desserts and make sure you save room before you order. The lemon squares are awesome. The cookies are... big. The key lime pie is good. On to the food. The four cheese pizza was excellent. The flavor was perfect and it is a great lunch size, or to split with a salad or a sandwich. The adult grilled cheese and the gluten free club were both good. We will be back.
I wasn't impressed. My pizza was very greasy, all of the toppings slid off every slice. My mom's adult grilled cheese was bland and our friends quiche want completely cooked. The staff were slow, none of the wait staff had any pep in their step. The fish washer was the only one I saw moving with a purpose. I so wanted to love this place.
This is two blocks off main, which means a lesser line. The soup, salad, and sandwiches were fresh and delicious. They excelled at drinks of all varieties. The berry lemonade was divine. Enjoy!
