Me and my new husband of a day ended up here after meeting some neat folks at a bar. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff even more so. Very responsible on making sure everybody was of age and the place was super clean! Shout out to general manager Christine for helping me and my friends after kicking out a disgustingly rude man and handled it so professionally. Will be coming back again.
Last year the manager called my husband and I on the cops for a physical altercation of hair pulling and fighting. I was sitting at the bar because of an ankle injury and talking to my husband. It was crowded and clearly locals go here. We never have been in a fight like that in the past 15 years. The police did not even confirm the footage even after the owner stated on video she had a recording. The county police arrested me, brought me to jail, undressed me, and hit me. I documented the bruising. I lost 30 min and woke up in a jail cell, facedown, on a dirty mattress. I've never been arrested before. All discovery somehow disappeared from evidence-both from the bar and from the police station. Don't go there.
If you're looking for a great time, look no further. Drinks were good, karaoke was entertaining, and the employees were all more than friendly and helpful. I would recommend reserving a table in advance or show up early to get a table so you aren't standing for the night. Didn't catch her name, but there was a blonde woman who I am assuming is the owner/manager who went above and beyond to make our night great. She talked with us and made us feel welcome, and even grabbed us a table to sit at when someone was leaving. We will definitely return here if we are ever staying in Fredricksburg again!
Don’t waste your time. Overcharge drinks by $1-$2 each from price listed on digital scan menu (should be a quick fix, but hasn’t been). Was our 1st stop and drinks and we had 1 each. Rude staff, refused to split 4 drinks to own ticket, after waitress that took our order said they could when we checked out (also wasn’t posted anywhere in the establishment or on menu). There are MUCH better options close by. Save your time and go elsewhere.

Christine was an amazing host. We have walked around and this place was the only place we had to come back to again. Great little spot. Good spirits, fantastic music, amazing vibes. Karaoke was entertaining. I highly recommend this place.

This is a great karaoke club. I highly recommend it.I had to minus 1 star because of the Lux taxi service they advertise. They'll charge $40 just to go 2 blocks. I highly recommend these two instead. Better service and more reasonably priced!
I went for my soon to be sister in laws wedding. We We’re looking to have a good time and spend money. However, the door staff was extremely disrespectful and rude. We had been the night previously with no door cover and waited over 30 minutes to be served at the bar so we decided to leave.We tried again tonight with a door cover which we were okay with paying however the extreme disrespect and poor customer service we were immediately received at the door turned us aware immediately. Horrible greeting right at the door. Go to Culture for good customer service at the door and beyond the door. Great atmosphere.
If your looking for a fun time in Fredericksburg- GO to the Velvet Lounge! This was our first Karaoke Bar experience and had a great time!The drinks were delicious, servers were friendly, and the atmosphere was down right FUN!We enjoyed singing our hearts out till Midnight!Thanks Velvet Lounge!
