Stable was a great experience overall! - Thomas the manager was very attentive while Nate at the bar was making some really great drinks. Their energy was on point and they make a great team. I will certainly be back the next time I’m in Fredericksburg. Cheers!

Nice little bar, decor is cute. It’s a very small place. They have a room to the side for bigger parties. The lady bartender was not very friendly but there was guy that came out and made the drinks he was very nice. Drinks are weak they measure to the T lol! They do offer different types of specialty drinks. The food is overpriced for what it is. They had a nice guy singing on the patio.

First time it's a nice little place. Seating is limited due to space inside. Had the Mac and cheese lobster plenty of lobster and super cheese. Drinks were good tried two have to say the old fashion was the better of my two. Would try going again.

Very slow service. Supposedly good cocktails but one bartender for the entire bar and restaurant - waited at least 20 min for a drink before flagging the waiter down and changing to wine.Waited over an hour for pizza and ended up taking it to go because it was so loud in such a small space- got home and the pizza was still undercooked. This was $18? Horrible. Would definitely not recommend

Most adorable, handsome bar in a town filled with fantastic watering holes. The tiny historic mill is outfitted with an interior that commits 100% to an equestrian theme. We learned the blankets over chair backs, English saddles, bits and mallets are from the owner’s personal polo habit! Notable list of spirits with the best names in gin, scotch, whiskey and vodka. Delicious espresso martini. Small but tasty lobster-centric menu. The lobster roll was stuffed with great quality flavors.

Brittany (sorry if I spelled it wrong) made the kid free night amazing for us! She is why we stayed longer. It is a very small, but quaint bar. If your looking for a craft cocktail bar, here is one to try! Sean was bartender when we arrived and was keeping up with the many orders. These two personalities definitely made our night.

Really nice place. A small bar could make it hard to find a table, but we we're lucky and got a seat at the bar. No draft beer, but an extensive craft cocktails, bottled beer and wine made up for it. We had the small meat board which was a perfect appetizer for 2. It included 3 meats, 3 cheeses, picked veggies, grapes, crackers and 3 differ jellies.

Very cute and intimate environment, came here with a friend from out of town and decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was very polite and attentive. I had a glass of wine and my friend had the elderflower martini which she absolutely loved! We enjoyed a charcuterie board recommended by the bartender. However, after about an hour of us enjoying our visit what seemed like the manager came in with a group whom we shared some laughs with. He then got very rude with the bartender ( who we thought was doing a phenomenal job running the then very busy bar ). It was highly unpleasant and awkward to witness… I don’t normally write reviews for places I just figured the bartender deserved a wholehearted and appreciative review for her hard work tonight! Keep up the good work! We will be back.

I would give zero stars if I could. Keep scrolling these reviews & you will see several other people have complained about the same bizarrely unwelcomimg vibe. We were a bridal party & made reservations 2 weeks before our trip. We even called day we came. Once we arrived we were told there was no reservation & the employee we JUST spoke to on the phone did not exist. We were respectfully dressed & polite, but a few local diners said really bizarre & rude things to us on the way out- something like good luck getting a seat. By the time we were finally seated, the service was really awful. We had multiple servers and all very rude/inattentive. We were never brought any water and when we asked one of the servers for one he abruptly barked, "I don't have time for that." by the time our food finally came out which was a good two hours from the time we ordered it was all COLD. COLD lobster mac & cheese. COLD lobster rolls on dry hot dog buns. And our bill was way over $300. Never coming back, would never recommend. we are a lot more racially diverse than the local scene. Perhaps that had something to do with it because it is a small Texas town & the vibe was bizarrely hostile.

It is a very nice place with a very rude and unwelcoming bartender. I want to think she was having a bad day, but I’m not sure if I want to come back.
