Ordered a togo pizza, was told a 30 minute wait over the phone. Show up around the 30 minute mark and get told it's gonna be a 20 minute wait. Okay, no big deal we'll wait. Walk up to the window after the wait and get told another 20 minute wait yet again. Me and my partner were miffed. 2 other groups who had also been waiting for a significant amount of time as well. When we finally were handed our pizzas they were luke warm at best. Flavor and crust were not worth the wait. It will definitely be a long time before we give this another chance.
Oh my goodness. Who knew that Fburg’s best food was served out of a food truck? Fantastic halal pizza…..and the President salad with dressing made from magical unicorn tears and the flavor profile of the perfectly caramelized but not cloyingly sweet pecans, fresh greens, pickled onion, shredded carrots and some type of divine cheese….hit the mark! Don’t miss this gem! Cute little outdoor dining area. This guy is going places! (Hopefully to a full service venue☺️)
Good pizza in a quirky little food truck with nearby picnic tables. The people running the truck were super nice. We got the margarita pizza as they were out of the mushroom one. It was very tasty: generous amounts of super fresh tasting tomato sauce, nice mozzarella cheese, and good basil flavor. Our only critique was that the center of the pizza was quite soggy and the toppings ran off when you tried to pick it up.
Best pizza in the hill country!! The crust is perfect, light and airy while crunchy. We had the Galatea and we are talking about it again the next day wanting more, salty and fresh, it is so yummy. We also had the Roxanne and it was tasty with the perfect amount of chili to add some spiciness.We returned a week later and of course had the Galatea again! Also tried the pepperoni this time and it was perfection!!
Flavor, seasonings were good. We ordered the margarita pizza and another one with pepperoni. We like the crisp, cracker like crust they have versus thicker pizza crusts . However, one of the pizzas was burnt (totally black) all along the top edges and the bottom. We picked up the pizza after a long day on the road and were famished. Unfortunately, we could only eat a couple slices of it. We plan to talk with management so that they can make adjustments to cooking times.
Complimentary response to the fellow who said he has simple tastes and Prometheus did a great simple pie. I believe it, but I have fussy tastes so figured I'd throw my 2 cents in for the sake of completion: we had a few of the specialties, all great, but the Tartuffe was something else altogether. Online order from a roadside food truck with dirt parking, sure -- might be the best pizza you'll have. Make the trip.
Very nice pizza, fantastic location and ambience. We had the 'Hey Bob's pizza. Been here twice, and the quality of the pizza is top notch. Perfect evening hangout around Fredericksburg. The BYOB makes it even better.
This is a really fun spot with SERIOUSLY good pizza! The service was great, the staff was kind and awesome and everything we ate was delicious. Olives and pickles were creative and super fresh, the Caesar salad was enormous and tasty and the Roxanne pizza was spectacular. Crispy kale, beautiful crust, a little kick of spice, and obviously top notch ingredients throughout! I'm glad we found this gem!
One of thee best pizza places we have had. Recently stayed at an Airbnb not far from here and we decided to order from here. I’m glad we did. Great tasting pizza. Their olives are also a new favorite of ours. If you’re ever in the area, I would highly recommend you try this place.
My wife and our 2 dogs decided to stop in FredericksburgTexas because we had heard about a great RV park and fun shopping. We had spent the better part of the day shopping and didn’t feel like cooking that night so we decided on pizza. Looking at all the reviews for pizza we decided on Prometheus Pizza from looking at the photos and reading the reviews, and it was less than a mile from our RV camp. This small food truck puts out some of the best pizza I have ever enjoyed, Christopher is the kind of owner that has so much pride in his menu because he wants you really enjoy his food. I enjoyed our short visit and I couldn’t wait to get back and enjoy it, both my wife and I now have a favorite pizza place in Fredericksburg.
