Wow ...one slice of brisket and one side item and they call it a bbq plate ! The brisket was mediocre at best . The potato salad was mushy like mashed potatoes . It seemed over priced for what you get . I'm leaving here to go get a burger . First time , last time .
I had a Chopped BBQ Sandwich Combo plate. The BBQ on the sandwich is very tasty. I had Potato Salad as the side. They have a large selection of sides so no one should have trouble finding a side.
Two stars because of the sides and bbq sauce. We had turkey, sausage, and ribs and the meat was really good. Every side we had was bland and just not worth it. The bbq sauce was horrible! Very expensive too, and most employees seemed lost.
Had the chopped brisket sandwich it wasn't very good at all. Had to wait 20 minutes to get margaritas because the bartender kept going behind the food counter talking. As we were waiting to order drinks other people were as well. The bartender was building up quite a line as she talked behind the food counter. We waited, but other people left. I wish we would have left as well cause the drinks were not so great either. I don't recommend this place to anyone who visits Fredericksburg. I guarantee you'll get much better service at the other places and better food and drinks.
Really tasty beef brisket - we loved that! The cheddar jalapeno sausage was good but some bites will have a kick to them. Had the creamed corn which was good but also could be a bit spicy for some folks. The fries were great.Friendly staff and a fun atmosphere. Some people have said prices are higher than they'd like. But you get a good sized portion of food, so consider splitting a meal and you should still have plenty to eat.
Neat place to visit and the staff was great. Huge portions. Only negative would be the prices were a little on the high side. Great location on Main St.
Had the three plate combo, meat was dry. Brisket had good flavoring but was extremely dry. And pulled pork was greasy and tasted as if just left in smoke with no other flavoring. Mac and cheese was dried out not enough sauce and green beans had no flavor other than just tomatoes and onion. Baked potato was great as was the queso by itself.
Barbecue very average. Dry buns. Bland pinto beans. Better places for $42 for both of us. Staff was accommodating and good music tracks played.
It was ok. Pulled pork was tasty, everything else was a little overcooked and dry. The sides seemed to be pre-packaged or out of a can. Came at lunchtime and it was busy so we thought it would be much better. Would expect a bbq place to have better meat this early in the day. Definitely should have read the reviews first
Had the Pork Ribs and Brisket with Jalapeno Mac and Cheese and Jalapeno Cream Corn. Great, Friendly people and reasonable prices. The bartenders were AWESOME too.
