Our family had an exceptionally good time at Kalasi Cellars. We were staying at an AirBnB in Fredericksburg and ultimately were looking for places where we could charge our Tesla. The winery was 12 minutes from our stay, so we figured it was an easy place to try.We received a warm welcome and a server that insisted we try our wines before getting a glass. I'm glad I did as my first pick didn't suit me, but the second was right on the money. The charcuterie was delectable and I was impressed by the table service, even though we were outside. We picked up 2 bottles to go and have enjoyed the memories back at home. We're already planning our next trip to Fredericksburg and Kalasi Cellars will surely be a stop along the way.
We love their wine and we love Greg and Nikhila. We felt very welcomed the first time that we visited and really enjoyed their story and of course, their wine, so we joined the wine club right away. Our friends who visit the area with us were also taken with Greg, Nikhila, and their wine so they joined too.We are really happy to see them grow and we look forward to experiencing that every time we visit. It is definitely one of our favorite places to visit when we spend the weekend in the area or even for just a quick weekend drive. In fact, we are heading out there this weekend. Definitely put this on your list of wineries to try when you venture out to the Fredericksburg, Hye, Johnson City area.
Hidden gem!! My wife put this on our itinerary, and let me tell you, this place is so amazing! A little off the path if you're a die hard wino, (maybe 8 minutes off Main street.) Nonetheless a gorgeous little property!! Very clean, and the bathrooms are decorated with an India inspired wallpaper and gold faucets. The wine representatives are so sweet and knowledgeable!!!! Can't wait to come back!!!
We love Kalasi! Nikki and Greg are so knowledgeable and welcoming, this place is both a date night fav, and a second home. Thanks for making us feel loved on our special day!
Most friendly and welcoming tasting while visiting Texas wine country! The wines were world class and I could sit outside in their anorak chairs for hours! Can't wait to visit again.
Amazing! This venue is the best, if I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would. Excellent staff and service. The wine is just so good, I highly recommend the teroldego and rousanne as well. The outdoor area is so pretty. Also, you can have fun feeding their llama and sheep. You definitely don’t want to miss this great spot!
Great wine and even greater service. The people who work here? Inviting, genuinely interested in their clientele, love sharing their immense knowledge of wine making/tasting, & have a gift for conversation that all culminates into a wonderful experience.Don't forget to check out the llamas out back and the gorgeous palace door in their beautifully designed tasting room.
A bit hot out there during the visit (thanks, Texas!), but what a wonderful experience. That llama talks a big game, but not as much as the wine. Kudos all around.
We have visited Kalasi Cellars twice now. The first time for a tasting and most recently for their one year celebration. Both times have been wonderful. The wine is great and the everyone is very friendly.
The wine, the experience, the service - you can’t miss this place when visiting Fredericksburg! The tasting room is bright and spacious (great for staying your distance from others). The tasting room employees are friendly and knowledgeable without being pretentious. And the outdoor space is to die for! Picturesque trees with anorak chairs below to take in the surrounding view while sipping on world class wine from Texas!Grapes are grown by the family and care is taken from soil to bottle with each wine. A family affair that you can’t get enough of!
