Watch out for those margaritas! They sneak up on you. This place is a lot of fun. Indoor and outdoor seating with live bands. Food is decent.... Drinks are better. Very casual environment.
Great place to eat for our girls day out, staff was very friendly and helpful. Will go back to eat next time we are in the area.
Really good food. They have outside seating area that is pet friendly. The baked jalapeños were good but a little awkward to pick up and eat. The goat cheese salad was good. The Reuben was good with the smokey pastrami flavor. My favorite was the green enchiladas. It was more like an enchiladas pie. Very delicious.
Food was above average, prices were reasonable, live music good as well.. Fun place, Lukenbach without the drive.
We went on a Wednesday at about 2:00pm, so I can’t speak to its peak time service or while bands are playing. The food was extremely good with great portions and reasonable prices. The have really good margaritas FYI.
I only visit here about once a year, on my way to concan. But every single time it has been excellent service, good food, and a nice atmosphere. All the employees are kind and helpful, food is hot, beer is relatively cheap, and they have an excellent SHADED patio. Get the REUBEN!! It’s one of my favorite sandwiches I’ve ever tried.
Atmosphere is A+ (we sat outside under the trees, live music starts at 7pm). I got a bacon cheese burger (the size of my palm, cold). My husband got the brisket plate. He said it was good and tender, served with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. We ordered the triple crunchy- onion strings (good), Parmesan chips (okay) and cold curly fries.
The food was okay. First time here and am a local so it was something different for me and my bf since ill be leaving this week my bf and i wanted to have a nice meal... well it was cut short when i had a spoon of mash potatoes and to my horrer a plastic tab from the bread was in my mash potatoes!!! :( it stopped me from eating and we left. Refund was given but not happy for a first time...
I like the atmosphere. The indoor dining affords you views of history. The outside view gives you fresh air family friendly fun. The food is good. The french fries were the best.
