We were really excited to try this place out. When we got there we placed order for drinks. Another party came in and they got their food before we got our drinks. Someone asked the waiter, James, where they were and he let us know they were short staffed (totally understandable) and she said she was just reminding in case they forgot because we noticed how the waiters were hustling to keep up and we understand sometimes people forget. He walked away and mumbled something under his breath. When he came back he told us our drinks were comped for and we were free to leave when we finished them. I have never had such rude customer service. This was uncalled for and took us all by surprise. I would not give this place my business! When I asked him for his name he told me James and told me I needed to leave or he would call the cops on me. He assured us no other place could accommodate us because of our large party. Nury’s next door is a much better eatery and they accommodated our party of 8 as soon as we walked in, while it was busier than this place.

Great service today on a busy holiday weekend! Food was great! Check it out!

We had a great time it was a good little please to eat right off Main Street the food was good and the atmosphere was relaxed

Came in to get a drink and listen to music. Has a great waiter. When it started to rain, we went inside to sit at the bar. The make bartender proceeded to rudely tell out waiter to not allow people to change tables. We told him that our waiter was not responsible for our change, but we were not acknowledged by him. We immediately left after paying. Our waiter, who was quite embarrassed, found us outside to apologize. He had no reason, but we will not return as long as that rude bartender is there!

Great hangout! Must visit when visiting.

You can't go wrong with the biscuits and gravy here. Everything tastes very fresh. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It's in a nice spot tucked away from all the commotion of the thoroughfare, so if you want to relax and eat some great tasting food in a chill spot, this is it. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of a lack of shade if you go there during the day and it was kind of expensive. I'm sure at night the place is gorgeous with all the lights on and the ambiance but wear a hat if you go during the day!

OK...so they still have the "new bar-restaurant" training wheels on..but this is post-(P/2020) times!$#!! A TOTALLY great space, "hidden" is correct, but 'diamond' indeed. Forty years coming to Fredericksburg (29 legal drinking years), yeah, this place is LEGIT! Give it a try! NOTE - I suggest pairing the Caymus (bottle only) with onion rings and Cholula ?✌️

Busy place with only one server working the patio and he did an excellent job! Food and drinks came out at a very reasonable pace! The vibe was great and so were the mimosas and quesadillas!

Went on a Sunday, one of the busiest days in Fredericksburg and they decided to open up later and severely understaffed. Props to our waiter for doing his best to hurry and take care of everyone. Whoever manages this restaurant needs some improvement. They were out of so many things, and with diet restrictions I could only eat eggs because they were out of things. My friends food was so bad he couldn't finish it and they waited till everyone got their food to tell his wife they were out of the main ingredient for her meal so she had to wait another 12 minutes for her food. Very disappointing for a restaurant off Main Street.

Always wanted to try this place but a little disappointed. Atmosphere is great and the staff was nice but the food was okay. They had already ran out of some food choices so I got the chicken tacos. They came out cold. We did get there pretty late so maybe that's why.
