Closed ! What a pity! Was our go to for many years. Loved the Jager snitchzel and the bar area. Hopefully someone will. Uy it and redo it as it's a Fredericksburg institution!
The restaurant, our favorite, is closed. There is a spray-painted plywood sign that says, “Closed remodeling.” The entire place was dark. There were spider webs across the front door. Looked like it had been shutdown for some time. Pity.

The food was great and the service spot on. I loved the ambience, especially the bar! I hope they can reopen, we do miss you! To everyone putting 1 star reviews because they are closed, shame on you!
This is a great German restaurant with great food & drinks & service. We recently drove by to take advantage of their wonderful food, but alas, it is closed temporarily for remodeling. Hope it opens up before Octoberfest! Try it, you will love it.
This place is closed permanently despite every website, including their Facebook page telling you they are open. It is boarded up.
