Trout was over cooked, asparagus was tough and bitter.

We came here on a recommendation. We were celebrating our anniversary. They seated us immediately in the wine cellar, which was very nice. The wine list was fairly extensive and we were able to find one to our liking. The appetizer was brisket stuffed jalepeno pepper and it was very tasty. The meal overall was good with the prime rib done to desired temp along with garlic mashed potato. The vegetable medley was not something I would order again as it was rather bland. Dessert was to die for if you like chocolate! Our server Josh was very attentive. Overall a good experience.
Restaurant has special occasion atmosphere and delicious food. Server was friendly, attentive, and very professional. Added treat was the Saloon with musical entertainment and dance floor. Perfect combo of food and music/dancing. Wish our hometown of College Station had a place like this.
We love Crossroads. We prefer sitting at the bar where you can be casual or dressed up. We have always had excellent service, and enjoyed our food. The smoked, brisket stuffed jalapenos are a must.
Most of the food was pretty good, the decor and ambience were very good. Our biggest issue is with the service. Our server Luke was awful from start to finish. After we paid our bill we asked if there was a way they can put our leftovers in the cooler to hold for us while we go into the attached bar to hear the band for a while. He said no we can't do anything like that. On our way to the bar, we saw the restaurant manager and asked him the same question and he said absolutely, we have a place for that... and took disappeared with our bag of leftovers. After we were done in the bar I found the manager and asked for our food... I followed him toward the front of the restaurant and watched him grab the bag from the floor by the Host desk by the front door! He could have just told us they couldn't or wouldn't keep it in the cooler, but to pretend and leave it at room temperature on the floor-unattended? Very poor service. Fortunately the band was good and the food we already ate was pretty good so it wasn't a total loss.

This was our 51st Wedding Anniversary celebration and our table was probably the best setting that we had ever had.... We were in the wine cellar of the Restaurant and it was perfect..... I absolutely loved our wine and the desserts were fabulous .... We will go there whenever we can..... Thanks Crossroads for making this night special.....
