Stopped by a second day. Of the seven wineries visited this was our favorite. Great grounds, the outside and inside seating is great. Knowledgeable staff, today we had Zoe as a hostess. Tried five samples and the meat and cheese tray. Great time...highly recommend this location. A keyboard player and singer were on site. Get a reservation for quick seating. Plenty of parking.
I came to celebrate my birthday with some of my best friends. We sat inside, as the summers can be scorching hot! We had a nice wine tasting and exquisite charcuterie board on our journey to rose all day with the girls ! Was a very pleasant time with great service and great locations to take photos with our friends. Thank you
Augusta Vin is the best, most beautiful winery I’ve ever been to! We loved the wine tour we had with Jules, she was truly amazing and we all loved talking to her! She’s so kind!! The views and everything about our experience was the best of the best! You must book a tour! Thank you for having us, we can’t wait to be back!
This was our first trip to Augusta Vin. We have been to Fredericksburg many times and have been members at other wineries. Not many of the wineries are actually doing vineyard tours. We were running late and we called ahead, the staff gladly moved us to the later time slot. Lucky for us, there were no other people signed up for the VIP tour, so it was a "private tour" by default (3 of us). Kristi was our hostess, she was very informative, knowledgeable of the vineyard, and the wine making process. We learned some new things about the types of grapes and the wine making process from her. Kristi was an excellent tour guide. Kristi fine tuned the tasting to our palates (mostly reds). She did sway us to like the Rose'. Many thanks to Kristi! She made the tour enjoyable and she introduced us to wines that we like. We are glad to report, we our now members at Augusta Vin. We look forward to picking up our wines, enjoying the views and meeting new people.
Incredible ambiance and atmosphere. You're lead down all the vines to a tasting house with a beatiful view. The sommliers appear to have been in the industry for a bit of time and are pretty knowledgeable. Overall the service was fantastic. The wine itself was good.
We visited Augusta Vin during the 4th of July weekend and had a blast! The winery is beautiful and the wine tastes even better! On our first visit, we were lucky to have Laura as our server. She was absolutely amazing and made our day one we’ll never forget. We enjoyed our time there so much we came back the next day! The next day we had Dion as our server and he was great. Not only was his service top notch, he gave us recommendations for our stay in Fredericksburg. We are already planning our next trip to Augusta Vin and can’t wait to visit again!
Beautiful venue!! Sue was the best- knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. We recommend 10000x. Beautiful view, amazing wine, and the best people serving (thank you Sue!!!)Live music was a plus.
First time here. Laura Ann was one of a kind with amazing customer service and very knowledgeable, her energy and charisma convinced us to join the club member where me and my friends were so impressed with the variety and flavor of the wines. Came back one day later and Dion that hosted and served us, went above and beyond to make sure me and my friends were having the best experience as a club member. Highly recommend for many reasons! Can’t wait to come back!!!!
We randomly chose this after arriving at our air bnb around 4, realizing most vineyards closed at 5(Augusta was open until 6). We didn't realize what a gem we were about to stumble upon! The grounds are gorgeous, the wines are delicious, and our guide Chuck was great. Definitely recommend, and we loved that it was kid free ?
A must visit when we are in the Fred area. The wine is delicious, the tastings are well organized and the servers very knowledgeable. The grounds are well manicured and we love hanging out outside with a glass of wine. I understand their kid and pet rules have changed recently, which I’m sure will be a bummer for us in the future….but for now we are thankful for the peace and quiet.
