Classy, close space for trying some wine with unique heritage and connection to Sicily! The owner is constantly in the building and delighted to chat with patrons about the history and the wine
They were so busy, that we clear off our own table (just trying to help) and still waited 20 minutes. Even then no one came to our table, we ultimately got up and left.
Great service great prices, great place, wines not so much. I have had previously, from Italy Mascarello,Biondi Santi, Enio Grasso, Gaja, Tignanello, Masseto, Altessimo, etc. The Pinot Grigio I liked! The Chianti Riserva is goid, the eest of the reds not so much.
This place quickly became a must stop on every trip to Fredericksburg and we're now members and hoping to visit the winery in Italy soon. The wine is not local to Texas, it is imported high quality wine straight from Italy. They true value comes if you know how hard it is to get quality Italian wines at reasonable prices in the US. And to get to taste the wines before spending the money on the bottles. The owner of this tasting room is the owner of the winery in Tuscany and the wines are just superb. Picture is of some of the bottles we got on our last trip, which included everything from a perfect sparkling Prosecco, to a sweet and balanced Lambrusco, to big and serious reds from Montepulciano. The service is always lovely and friendly. In my last visit, an Italian man was visiting the US the winery and helped us with our tasting, Gregory. He was extremely helpful and passionate about the wine.
Andreucci was recommended to us while visiting Fredericksburg so we made a point to stop in. Years ago I visited Italy and became a wine lover so the opportunity to have some true Italian wine had its appeal and we were not disappointed! Greg did a great job of hosting us while we were there and entertaining other couples who had also stopped in. We hope to make it back for the wine pick up party and perhaps meeting the owners! This is a must stop for some varieties of wines from other regions while appreciating our local wineries Don’t miss out!
Best wine and people in town.Greg, Tony, everyone who worked there this weekend—thanks for a great first trip to Fredericksburg. We’ll be back
Greg was fantastic and very informative! Love the atmosphere and the beautiful array of amazing wines!
Amazing wine, very respectful and charming service. Truly surprised and happy to find this gem last weekend. Very generous tastings and the sophistication of these wine brings tears to the eye.
Strolled in to a not so friendly face, a quick hello, no spiel, just a stare in our direction. I had to speak up with, this is our first time in here, in hopes for a follow up of some sort to open discussion of wines. As she explained no tastings are given, only selling by glass or bottle, we waited for a menu… we stood staring at each other, I had to finally ask for a menu. Another couple walked in after we ordered our glasses and they had a totally different experience. Highly frustrating.
What a great experience! Everyone was so kind and personable. From the atmosphere, to the snacks, to our conversation, they did a great job cultivating a personal experience in a well curated atmosphere. We really enjoyed our time at this wine room. Looking forward to our next visit!
