Wonderful food for the zoo. It was the only restaurant open in the whole place though. Kinda sad
We love going to zoos! We have a membership at the Dallas Zoo and go almost weekly. Decided to go to the ft worth zoo today and we were very disappointed. The place was packed, very few people had masks on and everywhere we turned there was stores or shops selling a stuff. There was no directions for people to safely go one direction or stay 6 free apart. The zoo recommends people wear masks not requires. Did not feel safe.
Our family had a wonderful time. This zoo, hands down is the best zoo in Texas. I loved this zoo as a child & was excited to share it with our 7 yr old Grand & her Mommy. We all had a wonderful time. My only suggestion is to add more motorized wheel chair rentals. We arrived at 10:30 & they were all rented. Luckily the zoo provides lots of benches & shade so my husband could rest as needed but we would have stayed a lot longer if he could have had that assistance.
Enjoyed our visit!! The animals were active and fun and the landscaping was great!! Still some construction going on but plenty to see and do?
Awesome but wish they weren’t always under construction but the flip side... always something new...
Good tasting zoo food
Enjoyed our visit. It’s a large well laid out zoo. What we didn’t like were the sheer number of people walking around without masks, and no enforcement of any type. Entire families had total disregard for others by not wearing masks, especially in the crowded indoor exhibits.
