I'm probably the only person who looks for a BBQ place for ribs with the knuckles (gristle!) Woody's ribs were AMAZING! So glad I found this place! Ordered coleslaw & potato salad - not super impressed but the ribs make up for everything!
Thought we would try this place and we were over charged for the tacos. Thought they we 3.25 but as charged 3.75 and 3.95. We asked about it and they said they haven’t been able to change the price on the menu but it wasn’t very busy. The tacos were very dry!!Service was not good and the tables were sticky. First and last time I’ll be going!
First time here staff is very friendly.Woody's suffers from the unfortunate lot of being near a dying mall but they have managed to survive. The ribs are on point. Really order the ribs. I had a two meat combo meal and the brisket was OK. My cut was from the flat so it was a bit dry but flavorful. I don'tknow if yhe smoke whole briskets but you may want to try a point cut. The sides are good but not spectacular which is fine because they don't detract from the meat. Hopefully, they can grow out of this location and move to somewhere with greater foot traffic. In summary order the ribs. No really order the ribs.
Drove by this place 100's of times, but today, we decided to stop. The food was really good. The sandwich pictured is the Gunslinger. My friend got the Frito Pie. He said it was good too.Staff is friendly and fast service. The inside was clean and so were the restrooms. Soap, paper towels and toilet paper stocked. However, I have two things I feel are worth mentioning for management if they read this review.Your windows are absolutely filthy. This is a first impression thing. My red flag alarm went off when we pulled up.Two, the tables are very sticky. It wasn't just ours. I checked two others before we sat down.Despite the two issues I noticed, Woody Creek BBQ still deserves a 5 star rating and we will be back soon.
Dang, does this place ever some mighty fine BBQ! My buddy goes here pretty regularly and brought me along this evening. It has such a warn and familiar BBQ joint vibe, really polite staff, and of course, killer BBQ at reasonable prices!I got the Gunslinger sandwich which has brisket, hot links, and sausage and although it's extremely filling, it's also one of their least expensive items on the menu. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for A+ BBQ.
This place is delicious, you get your food fast, the potatoes are ginormous, the sauce is delicious, green beans are perfect and savory add meat is perfectly smoky! Highly recommend
This place used to be good. Came in today expecting good quality food and service and literally got the opposite. The man at the cashier was rude and not paying attention to us while we were ordering. We literally had to repeat our order 3 times! We ordered a 2 meat plate and a burger. We waited for about 20 minutes only to find out that they had forgotten about us and guess what? We had to repeat our order AGAIN! Decided we would brush it off and finally sat down to eat. The food was not good at all. The burger had no taste whatsoever. Do yourselves a favor and find another spot to eat at. Will not be returning to this place.
I order the brisket marbled, make sure you have them leave some bark on it for the delicious spices. Their mustard based potato salad is a rea treat. Buy extra to take home with you!
This wasn't our first stop for food, the other place was busy so I decided to look around and saw this place. I googled it and saw the reviews and decided to give this place a try. It was so worth the last minute choice! Service was fast and great! Food was so good, the sides were so good I almost forgot to eat the meat. Now the meat .. the meat was so tender and juicy I ate much more than my stomach could hold, and for the price that is one heck of a good deal! The food was brought to us by a gentleman, he asked a few people how thing were and if they needed anything.I live in azle and this would be worth the 30 minutes drive the next time we want BBQ!
Visited Woodys BBQ after attending a movie. The bbq brisket sandwich was top notch, great flavor. Wife had the pulled pork which was also good. The only downfall was the onion rings which were the worst I've ever had. Skip those and you should have a good meal
