Wonderful atmosphere, good food, less than satisfactory service, & amazing location! We did feel hurried out at the end, if they were about to close, they shouldn't have seated us. Will probably give them another chance earlier in the day
Dude this place is Awesome... Our waiter Tanner was outstanding... I'm not into guys but if I was, we'll you know... Drinks were strong and the meat was quite tasty, ribs and brisket...get you some... again our waiter was very good, cool guy that was the best service I've had in a while... Go Eat...
I’ve been many times and have found the ambiance and service to be great. Today Cade was an excellent waiter. We love the smokehouse burger, pulled pork, kale salad and Mexican street corn. Our most recent visit we tried the Thai smoked cauliflower - I’ve never left a negative review, but that was the worst cauliflower I’ve ever had. My husband and I couldn’t take more than a couple bites it was so awful...and set us back $13. Never again. Super disappointed in such an expensive side. Parking is always difficult or expensive here...but I do always enjoy my time.
The atmosphere at Woodshed was wonderful. The outside seating by the river is beautiful and cool with all of their fans and a lot of customers bring their dogs! The drinks were really good, and the staff is friendly.However, for a BBQ place in Texas it's not somewhere I would recommend to anyone. It's extremely overpriced for the taste of the food. The quality of the ingredients seemed good, but the BBQ is on par with Dickey's. The fresh chips are tasteless, as was the Mexican corn. It's mostly an Instagram hot-spot.
Rated above average, but I didn't think so. Interesting, unique menu items. Cobblers were some of the best we have had.Overall service was excellent but more of an evening hangout, not a weekend lunch.
It was the perfect weather to have a BBQ by the river. All the food from the appetizer to the entrees were grilled to perfection. However, as you noticed the menu will vary on how the food is smoked along what the meat of the day is. With that being said the waiter will inform you before ordering. The cost and quality match. The quality of food is a tad overwhelming but the leftovers were greatly appreciated! I loved my queso with veggies: usually one assumes it'll be just broccoli but we had cauliflower & zucchini! My burger was deliciously stacked with meats and veggies. Prepared how I like it medium rare (juicy) The lamb brisket was a tad overcooked but the flavor was good. As for the side, you can't go wrong with Mexican corn for a side! Con: BBQ is already a higher price for dining so having the sides are a la carte wasn't favorable.
Had the Chicken Fried Steak and it was really good. The jalapeño gravy was very flavorful! The rest of my party's food looked really good and there were no complaints. The outside patio next to the river is a great spot to hang out!
Poutine, had flavor but the burned fried potato wedges were overdone, maybe 1/2 ounce of subpar (for Fort Worth) chopped overdone BBQ. Chx/waffles, dry waffle and overdone fried chx Had a feeling that the place is overrated, NO MASK SAFF PS bird shift on the table
This place has a great dog friendly patio perfect for the summer! Matt was the perfect server, friendly, fast, attentive, and had great suggestions! Nice variety of beers and drinks! And the food...WOW! Im stuffed! New orleans style oysters and brussel sprouts were delicious! Then I got brisket with au gratin potatoes and my husband got butchers burger with bacon! That burger was humongous! We will definitely be back!!
While visiting my niece Sarah Hardy and her family in Ft. Worth she introduced me to Woodshed for lunch.My Kale salad was very good as was her brisket sandwich and her daughter Georgia's ribs.The gentleman who served us gave great customer service.Wyatt their Dachshund fit right in the Pet Friendly atmosphere.Thank You Sarah for my fun and very pleasant first time experience.I so enjoyed my time with you, Georgia and Wyatt!
