First time customer, will not return due to subpar food and awful customer service. They messed up my order and then made me pay to fix it.Ordered lemongrass tofu with steamed rice. They gave me vermicelli and when I told them I ordered white rice, they told me it would be $3.25 for a side of rice (way too expensive for a side of rice). The tofu also didn't taste like lemongrass at all.Can't believe I was asked to pay to fix a mistake they made. It was ridiculous. Will absolutely not be coming back.
I only got spring rolls and the were really good! The service not so much...
Because Pho Grill on Overton was closed for vacation, we googled up WonderPho and entered the door for the first time. It was just past noon, but there were only a few diners. The sewer smell was very strong and my wife looked at me and shook her head "no". We were greeted quickly and offered a seat, but we said thank you and left. I'm sure that wasn't the food I was smelling, but it's difficult to have an appetite in that environment. You need to hire a plumber.
been here once, then came again. it was normal, a waiter came and took our order. then randomly, we heard some yelling then the woman owner and the waiter (the son i think ?) stormed out. so my family and i were like ??? uh ??? then two young ladies came up to the door and said they reserved a table, but the male owner told them they were closed and LOCKED the door. at this point we were done, and we left. i understand owning a business is hard, we own one too. but this was just unprofessional, messy, and sad. if you have problems going on, you power through when you has customers. this was unacceptable
Food is decent. My wife’s food came out like 20 minutes after everyone else’s. I also had to go to the bar to get water refill 2 times. If it was better service I’d give 4 stars.
Came here for dinner, it wasn't particularly busy and the food wasn't particularly good.The Pho was so lack luster I didn't even take a photo of it.The vermacelli bowl we ordered was about $13 with the thinnest cuts of meat, not loaded up with much veggies generally was over priced for the quality of the ingredients.The lemon pepper fried tofu was very very strong. You better love the taste of just pure straight up lemon pepper if you order this appetizer. In terms of the tofu itself it wasn't fried tofu, it's mushy and wet with a breading on it; not typically how I think of fried tofu. Also instead of pickles carrots and daikon it was served with crudite.Lastly. We ordered a kids meal. The photo of the kids meal provided in their menu shows chicken strips however what we got was sad small nuggets about the size of a quarter each.There's so much other great pho options in Hulen I will not be returning.
Horrible experience. We waited almost an hour and our meal still wasn’t out yet. We were about to walk out and he brought only two dishes (they weren’t even good). The interesting thing is the pho didn’t even come out and that should have been the first thing ready. Another guy also waited almost an hour for his food which still wasn’t ready and left. Never coming here again. At least be honest if you are short staffed communicate and let the customer decide if they want to stay.
I loved the food and costumer service the people were very nice and I got the buffalo wings they were more spicy than I expected but they were very good I also go coconut boba it was my first time getting boba and it was amazing the only bad part was I smelt cigarette smoke
I’ve driven from NRH to Hulen just to eat here many times. This place has the best pho I’ve EVER had! The reason I give it 3 stars is because I feel this place is understaffed & need more organization. They’ve always had the same server except the last time I was there. The usual guy is good, but the newer guy who attended me and my mom this last time was kind of rude. It’s not the most perfect place but the food makes up for it in my opinion. If they stepped up the customer service and were more organized it would be 5 stars because the food is definitely worth it, especially the pho!The wait time is a little long at times and I’ve seen people walk out because of that.
Went there this evening 1.19.22 for the first time. Never again. The older man was extremely rude accusing me of rushing him. The young man and woman who took my order for a sandwich were very kind. But a couple minutes of being there, the older gentleman came out to say they didn't have any more sandwiches.. I said "oh, okay then may I have a menu to order something else. He walked to the back complaining to whomever was in the back that they didn't have any sandwiches. He came back out and in a grumpy tone said I told you we didn't have any more sandwiches. Me: that's okay, may I have a menu to order something else. He told me they are over there. I looked at him and then he got me a menu. He went to the back then came out and said "I don't like that you are rushing me". I said I wasn't and he said "you said, oh okay. That is rushing me and I have a lot to do". Told him that is poor customer service and very rude and walked out. I understand how people are rushed in restaurants these days, so I'm patient. But that was just an awful attitude.
