It is our new Favorite Robert and the entire staff were Over the top’

Super cool location and atmosphere! Bonus sample of bubbly and appetizer was very surprising and exciting! Our server was great and food was pretty good! We had the restaurant week menu and I would think the normal menu would be even better.

Fantastic food! Great people. Super atmosphere. Christopher Alford rocks!

This is a very cool and classy underground restaurant. And on the ground floor is a classy bar for drinks. The dim lighting makes for a chill, romantic vibe. Nicely decorated with the feel of members only but all is welcome. The staff are friendly and attentive with good food & dessert options and drinks!

The best steaks and service was amazing!! Ask for Rob he’ll take good care of you.

Wicked Butcher has a fun modern vibe which is a nice change from some of the other chain steakhouses in the area. The food was delicious - well prepared with unique flavor combinations. We had the filet with steak sauce, mashed potatoes, wedge salad and sundae. We sat in the upstairs bar area and had exceptional service. A great experience.

We very much enjoyed this place. Right in central Fort Worth and conveniently across the street from our hotel. We sat at the bar and really enjoyed the vibe, and the decor was modern and upscale. The servers were kind and helpful, and the food was delicious. We perhaps got too much of it but that was a good problem to have. I got the bone-in ribeye and absolutely loved it. Great cut of meat and cooked very nicely. The Mac and cheese was pretty standard but just what I wanted. The creme brulee corn was also very delicious and a nice accompaniment to the rest, though I saved it until the end because it was quite sweet (but not overly so). I didn't eat the mushrooms but my friend said he enjoyed them. Would definitely go here again.

Great spot for dinner or lunch. It’s very pretty in the first floor (there’s a roof top and a different floor dinner reservations only.) The lay out and vibe was very modern and cute. Very relaxing. The food was fresh and delicious. Generous portions too. Will be back for dinner.

Without a doubt, Wicked Butcher is one of the BEST meals this vegetarian has ever had and my steak loving husband absolutely agrees! It was equally parts a visual and gastronomic delight to enjoy the evening eating fine food in the Sinclair - an Art Deco era building in downtown Fort Worth that was built during the oil boom of the 1920’s. This stunning architectural wonder features magnificent geometric designs, indicative of the era, and was impeccably restored in 2013 after being purchased to be made into a Hotel. The moment we pulled up, the valet was arranging safe keeping of our vehicle and leading the way to Wicked Butcher which starts on the floor level for casual dining and drinks and continues downstairs for the fine dining section. We were given a brief tour of the meat locker where we were able to see the dry aged meat hanging behind a glass locker before we were seated. Our sever, Brent, was next level with his food recommendations and the wonderful service he provided us throughout our meal. My husband was delighted to enjoy the double serving (a benefit of having a Vegetarian wife) of the complimentary chef’s offering: Foie Gras on a crostini with Blueberry compote. A few moments later, the manager delivered two glasses of complimentary Spanish Cava: a beautiful sparkling Wine from Spain. As we were enjoying the wine, we were surprised with a plate of fresh baked Popovers with herb butter. Literally the size of my forearm, they were flaky on the outside with a soft chewy center. The herb butter was so delicious that I was tempted to lick the ramekin it was served in! There are 9 different appetizers and sides suitable for Vegetarians on their menu - thoughtful considering it’s a steak house. With the omission of Bacon on the Wicked Wedge and the Veal gravy on the Robuchon Potatoes, there are 11 options in all - not including the dessert menu. For a starter, we ordered the Salmon and Tuna Tartare with Ponzu sauce, Avocado, Cucumber, micro greens and deep fried Wonton chips. I enjoyed a couple bites of the Salmon with Avocado, but the Tuna portion was a bit fishy for my tastes. It made my husband both happy that I tried it and thrilled that he was able to finish the dish without my help. My husband ordered the 16oz boneless Ribeye which was dry aged and served to his specifications - medium. He said it was very well seasoned and buttery in texture. I ordered the Cauliflower Soup: roasted Cauliflower, Pine Nuts and browned Butter. It was hot and creamy and served with a Parmesan Tuile cracker that blew away any expectations I had. We ordered three sides: Corn Crème Brûlée, Robuchon Potatoes and Brussel Sprouts. The Corn custard with Crème Brûlée sugared top was my favorite portion of the meal! The Robochon Potatoes were creamy and nutty with fried Garlic slices, Parsley and a Veal Demi-glase. I was able to eat the sides of the potatoes as the Demi-glase was a served in a small pool in the center. If you’re not a fan of Veal, it can easily be omitted. The roasted Brussel Sprouts were equally amazing and were served in a chili orange glaze with cashew crumbles atop. After our meal was complete, the manager appeared again with a final complimentary drink: a beautiful red Port Wine.Pros: Plan to arrive early or stay late to allow yourself enough time to look around the hotel. The ambiance and flickering candles made for a very romantic meal. The individual bathrooms were luxurious and included a mouthwash station. The observation deck is now open to restaurant diners, but only on Friday and Saturday. Confirm when you make reservations as that may be subject to change. Wicked Butcher has our highest recommendations and we plan to return soon!Cons: Parking anywhere downtown, including lots that used to be free of charge during non-business hours, are now up to $40.00. The restaurant offers a much more affordable option with their valet service at $15.00, so bring cash for parking.

food, service decor all pretty good. but they ruined it by poor cellering of their wine. they spend the money to chill their salad bowl, but the granite table top (probably low 70's) was cooler than the $100+ bottle of wine.
