They ran out of waffles, then said they were cleaning the grill. They also ran out of the sausage with biscuits and gravy. Charged us separate for everything after that. Horrible. I came from out of town and I always visit Waffle House as we don’t have any where I live. I am greatly disappointed.
I've been to numerous waffle house locations at various times and I can, admit if you're looking for good food friendly service, the store you should visit is #1421, and hopefully you'll meet the crew consisting of Andrew, Taelyn and Stephanie, I must give it up to you guys you're the BEST and your interpersonal skills are the greatest, I advise you to give them a visit and tell them Jonathan sent you, THANK YOU GUYS AND GIRLS FOR GIVING ME THE BEST SERVICE EVER. ?
Visited this place after the nascar race on Sunday. We had visited the Waffle House by Texas motor speedway before the race and drove a little further away after the race just to make sure it wasn’t super busy. Wasn’t too busy when we arrived but they were short staffed….only 3 people working. It got busy after we arrived and several left due to not wanting to wait. BUT the lady on shift did great; unfortunately, I didn’t get her name. She kept her composer/patience and was completely honest with the customers about having to wait. She handled the orders one table at a time to never overwhelm the cook which prevented the orders from being wrong and served cold. She even kept her smile on when attending to the tables that were already eating. If I could have helped her serve drinks, I would have. Kuddos to the staff that were there working and providing a service to their customers.
Someone can come into the establishment and talk crap to the staff and customers waiting in line for a table, but because customers in line for a table tell him to move on, the establishment can no longer serve customers waiting in line because they defended themselves in “altercation” (verbally). I understand short staffed but refusing service defending themselves and staff verbally, service is no longer available! Poor management, poor customer service. We will not return to this Waffle House again. Very disappointed in your actions.
The food is so good & delicious but please clean the tables after every customer leave. It would also be nice if they would sweep the floors. No one wants to step on food while walking to their table. ?
I was in the restaurant and Stephanie the shift manager had her children while she worked. The children were aloud to run around, crawl on chairs, loud, unruly and stood right by the register while checking out. I understand this may happen occasionally but she openly disgust this happens often and people complain about the kids all the time. She made a comment to a customer saying "as long as they are not fighting, I don't care". The wait staff even seemed annoyed.
Ok let me just say if I could give this place no star i definitely would.. I didn’t get the girls name but the white girl with the lip ring and tattoo on the side of her face needs to be fired.. I have never in my life dealt with such miserable employee in a restaurant.. so incredibly rude and when I tried to order she cut me off rolled her eyes and said when you figure out what you want without all the “damn” questions let me know … needless to say I didn’t finish ordering .. and the way she was speaking to her peers I am surprised they haven’t walked out she belittled them and humiliated them in front of guests.. definitely reporting to bbb and calling in morning… there was a lot more I saw but not gonna go into deal.. I usually don’t even waste my time with these reviews but this girl is unreal
Horrible service, I waited 40 mins for a to go order. When receiving the order it was wrong. Then wanted me to wait another possible 30 minutes for the correct meal I ordered. Never go to this location.
The best experience I’ve ever had at any WH location across the country. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. My order came exactly as I wanted. I’ll definitely be back next time I pass through the area. Overall it was a great experience and the best way to start my day.
So sad I can’t visit this waffle house again. I was the only dine in person there, the tables were dirty, the floors were dirty and the cook was in such a hurry to get my order done so she could take a break that my bacon arrived limp and barely cooked, sausage barely cooked when I asked for well done, and the waffle was an unrecognizable white lump with a few pecans thrown in. Goodbye Waffle House.
