Love love love the bakery items and sandwiches here. So grateful for such a unique place. They specifically sell gluten free and soy free bakery goods. If you have a loved one with dietary restrictions, DEFINITELY pick up something for them at Unrefined Bakery. They’ll love you for it! You can find cakes, cupcakes, pies, coffee cakes, cornbread muffins… the list goes on.
Amazing place! Their pizza is to die for even if you are not Celiac or have allergies. I drive over 30 min just for their cupcakes and muffins!
I was a little disappointed in the cake we bought for $60. I have a gluten and egg allergy and my hiaband wanted to get me a cake for my birthday. It was suppose to be 9 in round and was only 8 and it was bought our of the freezer. We had tasted some samples before we purchased the cake and they were really good. When we tasted the cake we bought once it thawed the icing was gritty and the cake was very dry. My suggestion is to order 48 hours in advance if you need a special cake made. The customer service was amazing though. At least something was amazing.
My mom ordered her own 60th birthday cake from here on a May 10th. She was so excited they offered a Keto cake and talked about it all week. When she came to pick it up, they did not have her order and told her she was mistaken on where it was placed. She had the date and time in her call log to prove it was the correct location. However, she left for her dinner without making a fuss and was not offered anything else. A true disappointment.
Abbolutely love their GF and KETO baked goods. Unfortunately they are a bit pricey, so it isn't as affordable as some other places. I have never had anything that tasted like sadness though, and most GF baked goods taste subpar.
I came to the Fort Worth location for the first time yesterday and tried a few vegan samples they had. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that tears rolled down my cheeks. I never thought that I would taste such wonderful quality vegan treats ever again, since finding out I had a gluten allergy. Unrefined Bakery has given me so much to look forward to.I purchased the chocolate and strawberry cupcakes as well as a slice of dark chocolate silk pie and a package of their burger buns. You would never be able to tell any of it is gluten free. The taste and quality are all definitely there. I feel so fortunate to live down the street from such a wonderful bakery with outstanding customer service.I was also very impressed with the price points as not many people know you are paying for a premium product when going organic. You have found a new regular customer. Thank you.
Ruth was wonderful to work with! I love this cake so much that I had my bridesmaid bring it from Dallas and we live and got married in Austin, TX. Best decision ever my favorite gluten free bakery!
Got cupcakes for my daughters first birthday cause she’s allergic to so much. & these were Worst vegan cupcakes I’ve ever had. Mushy texture and the frosting had a horrible after taste.
Unrefined made a cake for my wedding and we couldn't have been happier! We had a lot of allergen sensitive and vegetarian people at our event and wanted something that tasted just as good as a non-allergen friendly cake would. Unrefined absolutely did that! It looked elegant, travelled well, and was so delicious! One of our guests even said that she'd never had a more delicious treat since developing her allergy! I am so happy that the guests felt included and no one had to worry about getting sick. So thankful to have had unrefined as a part of our day!I was too busy to get photos, but I'll try to edit and add some when our photographer gets them back to us!
