Love this place! Use to go all the time in Albuquerque. It's so cool, really enjoy it.
I personally witnessed the “manager” of this location harass and yell at an employee for lawn chairs the wind had blown over. The food and Customer Service out of this location have always been above average, but witnessing another human being treated the way I witnessed a Tropical Smoothie Cafe employee being treated today makes me want to never come here again. I would be happy to provide a first hand witness account regarding this matter. Attached image is of the “manager” that I witnessed verbally abusing the other employee.
First off got it delivered and they didn’t include any straws in my order, secondly our sandwiches were not edible. They had so much salt that we litterly counts eat them. This place use to be good but the last like 4 times Iv gone it’s just bad. Would recommend finding a new smoothie joint.
Went here with my girlfriend tonight. We've been here several times in the past because the smoothies are fantastic and it's in a good location. However the service we received tonight was extremely frustrating and I do not know if we will return. The staff were friendly but got my smoothie order wrong. I wasn't too upset about it as it was an easy mistake to make, it was easily fixed, and they let us keep the mistake smoothie. No harm no foul. But when we ordered their avacado grilled cheese, it was explained that my girlfriend is vegetarian and so her sandwich needed to have no bacon on it. The cashier assured us that this was no problem. By the time we got our order, they were closing so we hurried out, however we discovered a few minutes later that not only did they put more bacon than cheese, but the sandwich had no avacado, nor any other ingredients listed in the description on the menu. Just cheese and a tremendous amount of bacon. In addition, we did not receive the sweet potatoes that we'd paid extra for, nor did we receive any side dish of any kind. The smoothies are great and the staff are very friendly, but this level of incompetence would be unacceptable at a McDonald's, let alone anywhere nicer.
The smoothies are good and affordable. In addition they offer healthy wraps and sandwiches.
Thr grilled chicken flatbread is good and low in calories too. (450 Cal)
Rude & unwelcoming staff! My friend and I walked in, and didn’t get any welcome. We awkwardly walked up to the counter, and had all staff just standing there staring, no music. I have never been more uncomfortable. Then, when I ordered my food, she told me the food line was now closed. I thought they closed at 8:00 from Google..... Then, as we walked out. Not a goodbye, or have a good day was wished. All I heard was the cashier ask another coworker “Are you accepting food right now?” Are you serious? She asked that after I ordered, and as we were leaving. Rude. Will definitely be making the extra minutes down to North Tarrant from now on.
Clean and they have a eddable lime straw for $0.99 it adds to the new experience if your visiting for the first time. ?
