Even with the small wait that we experienced, we would go back in a heartbeat! The servers were knowledgeable about every dish, and let you know what you could add for more depth of flavor. The sake that was recommended paired well with our food, thank you for a great meal!Try reservations for lunch or dinners to avoid the wait!

The food was really good, but the portions were small. Service was also good. Maybe great for a lunch, otherwise order 2 servings.

The sushi was good. The atmosphere is cute. The staff was nice. I would suggest giving them a try. They have bento boxes for lunch.

Our son treated me and his mother to a belated Mother's Day dinner. We started with the pork gyoza and shrimp tempura. Entrees were fish and chips for mom, spider roll for me and spider roll and yamagara rolls for our son. Everything was excellent. We liked the shrimp tempura so much we got another one. Tempura shrimp were nice and fresh. Fish was also tempura battered. All seafood was moist and tasty. Sushi rolls excellent. Service was excellent considering they are short staffed. This small place is very popular and we found out why. Decor is contemporary with a relaxing ambiance. We highly recommend and will be back.

This place is super cute and decorative inside. I loved the decorations and vibe of the place. We got the special of the day beef and chicken Shumai $8 (3), Westside chicken ramen $11, chicken yakisoba $12.I think if you’re curious and are just starting off trying Asian foods, this would be a good start for you just because of the level of flavors. Like someone who’s never tried sesame oil or is just “testing the food scene”. This is a good place. The egg was perfectly cooked though. The people were super nice! I had a new cup of my drink before I was even done with my first cup of sprite! Steven was super nice. Thank you so much Steven!!!

Everything was delicious.

We love Japanese food and sushi... this place is amazing!! Great service & atmosphere. We tried several new dishes as well as ramen and sushi and the whole family really enjoyed everything. Every single dish was delicious.

Tokyo Cafe does drinks and apps well - nice wine list (and a Riedel glass!), my partner enjoyed his sake, and I would return again to try more of their apps menu. The sushi rolls were underwhelming - small rolls and little taste. I ordered 2 rolls and they took about an hour to arrive, although I'm a shellfish allergy person and they took good care of that so I commend them for it. My partner's ramen bowl was much better. So I'd return and get drinks and apps only next time.

PHENOMENAL!!! And I’m picky;-) Jo-el was an amazing server…friendly and informative. One of the top sushi places I have tried in the DFW area. Go!

Bao buns, spicy tuna tower and rolls are all on point. Great food! My wife and I love going there!
