Caveat: I am anything *but* a wine connoisseur. Girlfriend found this place online and signed us up for their wine tasting event. I was a little stressed at first because I hate being bad at things but Clay(store manager) made us feel super welcome and is extremely fun and wickedly smart without making you feel not-so. This place is awesome. Classy without being snooty. Perfect for date nights or when friends and family are in town. I genuinely left there knowing more about wine than when I went in. Granted, that’s not saying much. Oh, get their charcuterie board while you drink! ??????. 10/10 will go again and bring friends.

We had a wonderful time with the Wednesday Wine Testing. Everything’s amazing from start to finish. Will definitely be back! Recommend the charcuterie board!!

This place is so cute and intimate. I like that it hasn't been over taken by large crowds so when you do go it's nice and spacious for a small party. Not overcrowded and loud like other Fort Worth spots. I came here for the first time with a group of 9 and we were able to sit in the Bordeaux room. We got the charcuterie board and the hummus plus we all had our own tab going on individual wine cards. Loved it, I am for sure coming back for date nights.

Had an amazing time for my first visit ?

This place has an incredible selection of very different wines. Awesome place to grab a casual glass or dive into a new experience. The guys working there (Clay and Reilly) have a passion for wine and customer service. They made the experience rememberable and explain everything you would want to know about each wine. Also did the blind tasting which was a blast!

Very cool spot with some great varieties! The guy running the place was very knowledgeable and kind and took great care of us. We loved our visit and our charcuterie.

- Joined the wine club this month.- Never heard from them.- Contacted on October 13 by phone and was told by Tiffany that she can't see memberships created that month and would get back to me.- Never heard back from her.- Sent an email two days ago asking for a charge back and membership cancellation.- Still haven't heard back.- Had to dispute charge with my credit card. It's a nice place to visit but don't join the wine club.Edit - I appreciate the quick response from the owner but it is explicitly stated on the website and in an email after signing up that the MVP Club comes with a wine concierge that will contact you. We were never contacted by one. There was zero communication from Thirty Eight until just now.Edit 2 - was just charged for another month even though owner said they canceled my subscription. Seriously, stay away from wine club.

Clay our wine guide made my whole experience perfect! He was super passionate and knowledgeable about the wines! Good music and great wine!!!

This really is a great new place in Fort Worth. It is not crowded or loud so it’s perfect for an intimate date night. The concept is really neat, but be prepared - there are several wines that will run you $35+ per glass. However, I love the idea of being able to taste different wines from all over the world for a smaller fee before committing to a full glass. Only down side is lack of food, you’ll want to come here before or after your dinner.

It's brilliant way how they serve drinks via machine. Nice place to sip and talk.
