My ham and cheese sub was okay. Needed more meat. My wife had the turkey and cheese and she liked it. I had the white bread. I don't recommend if you have any jaw issues. The bread was very chewy and wasn't soft. My jaw needed a break after eating. Not worth the $30 for two people.
This place just gave me the most stale bread I have ever had at a sandwich shop.

Went on a Saturday night about six and they had no white bread, no croissants, and only one bag of of wheat bread left. Sandwiches were adequate.
I wanted to like this place but the set up is kinda dirty and off putting. The pickles tasted stale and the bread was even worse. I asked the girl behind the counter what was the most popular sub and she said #7 or #12 and didn’t offer any assistance after I told her I’d never eaten there before. Bad service is one thing but the food didn’t make up for it. I’ll stick to jimmy johns, much fresher and cleaner.
When I made a visit to this shop on that day, I can say they were the BEST. I missed sandwich and they made it right then and there for me. I appreciated the kindness and understanding for human nature. Keep being personable guys. It really does go a long way.
MInus the homeless encampment blocking the front-door, filthy floors (disgusting) and deli-slicer, the reuben was, well, a reuben. Used to love this place, but will not visit again.
I just realized I reviewed this place 7 years ago. This establishment is the model of excellence and consistency. Every sandwich I've ever eaten here has been delicious. I think I've eaten my way through about 2/3 of the menu. Their breads are delicious. The meats are cut fresh while you watch. They have some vegetable options that you'll rarely find at other places, like sprouts, mushrooms, three different kinds of peppers, etc.The chicken salad is a particular favorite of mine now. I don't like chicken salad that has a lot of fruit or other sweetness to it. The chicken salad that they make here at the Great Outdoorsman is mildly savory and contains no fruit that I can find, so no sweet taste. It is extraordinarily delicious.Oh jeez, I almost forgot the chicken poblano soup. IT'S STUPENDOUS!My old review from 7 years ago. Every word still true.----------------------A great sandwich shop. The outdoorsman is delicious. They have sprouts! All sub's can be ordered hot or cold. Great prices. Staff is excellent. I have no criticisms. It's an all-time favorite of mine.
I wish I had pictures to share but the food was devoured! Wanted to try a new sub sandwich place and they did not disappoint. I got the club on the croissant and everything was flavorful and fresh. The lemonade is just the right amount of sweet and tart! Definitely check out this location for some amazing sandwiches!!
Great sandwich. Meat comes from the deli on site. Very large menu. It's like subway + 10.
