The salad was great! I really enjoyed it. The restaurant was a cool place to sit and enjoy. The customer service wasn't the best. I like to be greeted when I go into places but the food made up for it. The lemonade was too sweet for me. Overall I'll be back to try other items.
Sorry no pictures, because my plates was clean... Chicken fried chicken, yams, Mac and cheese, sweet tea-lemonade-koolaid mixed.... That's all I ever get, but I have tasted the smothered pork chops and greens from other people's plates. This place is just the best for a Sunday dinner, back home, after church type of feel. My cousin makes sure to stop by whenever he visits from Georgia... Nothing else like it. They got the real soul food.
I ordered the beef tips and rice....I got the meatloaf. It was so think and tough I needed a steak knife to cut it. Normally I love this place but drove all the way from south Arlington to get it and got home to disappointment.
This place came highly recommended. Went to check them out at 9pm. The door was locked and someone from inside screamed were closed… However, their website and sign states they close at 10pm. I placed an order online at 8:30 Saturday. Then right as I’m pulling out, someone pulls up, bang on the glass, and they unlock the door and let them in. I won’t be coming back or referring anyone.Absolutely ridiculous and rude!

Food was hot and nice sized portions. But the pork chops specifically didn't have much flavor. But the catfish was delicious!
If you ever crave soul food this place is truly the best place to go…. Oxtails were amazing!!! Mac and cheese and greens were wonderful as well.. 5 stars aren’t enough. Go check them out ASAP
