Not a pleasant experience at all. I’m in town for work and was excited to try this place due to the reviews. But wow! I was ignored by the waitress the entire time. When I arrived, I sat and waited for water for 10-15 mins. Which I had to ask for. However, when a group of four women walked in and sat right next me, they were immediately offered water. The inside isn’t that big, so we were very close. I had to flag my waitress down to get water. I was never offered a refill, however the four ladies next me were never below a half glass. First and last time here! Especially when they’re not treating all their customers the same. And to add context, the place was not incredibly busy as everyone was getting their food and drinks in a timely manner. Without having to ask, I imagine. The food was good, so there’s your two stars.
My wife and I stopped in on our way through Fort Worth and had a fantastic experience. The food was great, service was excellent. My wife has a number of food allergies and is on the autism spectrum, and she needed to re-order her meal. Our server, Ezekiel, went above and beyond to get a new meal made for us and was as decent a guy as you could hope to find. Next time we are in town, we will definitely be stopping in again.
Went with my son for lunch today. Place was very crowded. Took awhile to get the attention of staff. Placed orders eventually and then had a wait. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and when it DID arrive, it came with 2 huge chunks of cucumber and one chunk of tomato in addition to rice and eggroll. I'll preface this with the fact that I loved the little salad with lemon dressing. The eggroll was good, thank heavens, because the chicken was AWFUL!!! I cannot remember having chicken as dry as the Sahara. I ate the rice with the sauce ON the chicken but could barely cut the chicken, much less chew it. If not for the little salad and eggroll, I would've left hungry. My son liked his though said even though he ordered a 2 on the heat register, it really wasn't spicy. NOT a good lunch!! Won't return.
I had a craving for some spicy Thai noodles and Spice delivered! I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp #4. The shrimp were perfectly cooked. There was a good amount of veggies and shrimp. The sauce was delicious and perfectly spicy! Washed it down with delicious Thai iced tea. Thanks for a great meal. I'll be back!
If I could rate them higher I would !! This place has AMAZING food. It’s not a very big place but it’s not too small either, however I can tell that it’s very popular based on the amount of people that were here and that’s not a bad thing ! They have an outside eating area with a really nice setup. Their waiting area for online orders is a bit too small. If you wait for your order it would be well worth waiting for. The staff was very friendly plus they greet and seat you as you come into the restaurant. I can’t wait to come back and sit outside and enjoy this wonderful place. The food is incredibly good with bursting flavors! I got my spice on a level 4 and it was spicy! Not too spicy it was the perfect amount !! I usually need to add red pepper but here I didn’t need to do that. I will most DEFINITELY be back here !!!
If there was room for 6 stars they would get that from me! This place has very very good food. It’s not a very big place but it’s not too small either. They have an outside eating area that’s setup real nice. The waiting area for online orders is very small and crammed. To wait for your order would be well worth waiting for. The staff was very friendly plus they greet and seat you as you come into the restaurant. I can’t wait to come back and sit outside and enjoy this wonderful place. The food is incredibly good with bursting flavors.
We have really wanted to try this place for a few weeks now, ever since eating next door at fixture. The day was gorgeous so we thought it would be perfect to sit outdoors at Spice. We really like the outdoor patio the first time we saw it. Unfortunately, the patio was closed for lunch ?. That didn't deter us from enjoying some superb Thai cuisine. I have to interject here, you have to try ordering from the specialty menu. We ordered from the lunch menu which was full of traditional Thai dishes. I order the pad see ew, my wife had the panang curry, both were level 4 out of 5 in terms of heat and both were great. We also ordered some crispy spring rolls and jasmine tea. The service was attentive the atmosphere was a little somber but I had great company to make it enjoyable.
Take out has always been the best bet in my experience from this spot. Its not the bestof the best thai food but it gets the job done, and will definitely eat here again. It's just that multiple times when i have been to actually dine in I have been put off by the staff. They were completely dead one time and wanted to be served outside on their patio because I had my dog with my mother and I, they proceeded to tell me they didn't have an outside server so I took my business elsewhere that day.
The food is pretty good, but the staff is unfriendly, what do you want already and don't ask for any changes. You are bothering me attitude. The attitude, makes you not want to come. And for that reason, I have NOT. No, problem... The attitude is a constant. I have been several times, same attitude. It's bad ALL the time. Although, the food is good. The drink choices are pretty bad too. No real options, AT ALL! If you don't want your day ruin, don't go there.
Spice was pretty good, fast service plenty of food for the price and the atmosphere was quaint. I got the chicken pad Thai for lunch which came with a small salad and a choice between a spring roll and an egg roll. I got mine at a level 2 spice and it wasn't hot at all. I think next time I'll bump it up to a 3. Will definitely go back.
