The food served was fantastically delicious. It was booming with flavor and cooked quickly when ordered. The portions are more than fair and the price was within $20 for two full meals and two drinks. For the price, the taste far exceeded my expectations. The menus are easy to read with just enough variety to keep you coming back. An absolute delight of flavor, space, and simplicity.
Language issues. Poor and slow service (Dining In). Owner was nice, and apologetic but....When entrees finally came, only served half the meal - had to go to counter to retrieve rest of order. Food was cold, not even lukewarm, and mediocre at best. The Marsala sauce looked and tasted a bit like Campbell's tomato soup! Naan was flat, no fluff to it. No brewed tea, bottled only. Order from the counter and sit on tin chairs. Far better local choices for Indian fare, in my humble opinion anyway.
I ordered a pick up at 8pm. They told me it’s gonna be a while because we are busy. That’s understandable so I gave them an hour to get my foods ready (I ordered 2 items). Got there at 9pm, my husband came in to pick up our foods and they haven’t even started. He had to wait for another 15-20mins for them to make our foods. And I saw there were only 2-3 cars in the parking lot. This is ridiculous. This is our first time here because of all the reviews about the foods but it doesn’t matter, we will definitely not coming back because of the service.
I’ve enjoyed this place in the past, but today was not a good experience. I had a bowl to go and paid extra for lamb, but the gentlemen who prepared my bowl seemed to put as little meat as possible into my bowl. I counted 5 tiny pieces when he poured it into the bowl and when I ate it could only find 3 of those pieces. It might as well have been no meat with how little meat there was. $15 for a bowl of rice and sauce is too much.
Sweet staff, always welcoming! The setup is similar to chipotle. Love the cleanliness and attentive service we get. Always flavorful! If you go you must get the garlic naan and eat with tamarind sauce. You can eat a lot here and not feel full. Will definitely visit again!
Excellent food! The person serving was extremely helpful for identifying which options were vegan friendly. I would highly recommend this one to vegans and non-vegans. This is one of my new favorite resturants.
I see all the good reviews and hate to write a bad review. My husbands pizza was very good. I ordered the lamb kebab plate. It was not good. It was very tough and tasted like it had been cooked then reheated multiple times. My husband agreed. I was disappointed.
Great atmosphere clean bathrooms and even cleaner food! I really enjoy eating Indian food, but not have been able to find a spot that I really enjoy going to regularly. My wife likes thai, but I always feel like the dressing and sauces are too heavy, here you can decide how much dressing you like on your food, and get spicy or non spicy when you like. Eating inside is really enjoyable and peaceful, they have beer and wine available. I highly recommend trying the Taj mahal premium lager beer as well. It's a nice light lugger not too bittery but just the right flavor to go with your spicy Indian food.
Shut the front door good food.Lamb Tikka was outstanding only bested by the chicken Tikka. Must visit if you are in the DFW area
We enjoyed their Naan pizza, butter chicken was delicious!
