First time here with my friend and our experience was lovely! The food was delicious and it's nice to try new things especially when it is sooo good! But I have to say, our waiter Brian was top notch, he explained the history of the food and culture. He was very attentive and his presence made my friend and I very happy! Brian.... you DESERVE a raise! Most definitely will be coming back, thank you Shinjuku Station and thank you Brian!!
Called in after trying to make reservations was told it was not busy at all and then as I walked in they did not want to even take my name to seat us. Party of 4 2 kids 2 adults! Have to say it was because we were not 4 adults! Our kids love sushi, and we order big and tip well!We were going to trying a new sushi spot tonight and now crossing this one off the list!
I have to say, the proportion of the sashimi and rice is totally not right. The taste was not bad though. Still hungry when we left...
Been here twice. Best thing is to give your server a dollar limit and let them take you on a food journey. Done it twice and not disappointed. Make sure to let them know if you are opposed to certain foods.
Absolutely wonderful! We tried many different rolls and sashimi and all of the fish were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is very nice and our wait staff was very helpful and kind! We will be back.
Delicious for date night! Happy hour is superb- the tok fries were incredible & such a good deal. Also enjoyed the takoyaki. I like how things come out fresh when they’re ready. All the sushi and rolls were also fresh. Our waiter was so helpful w/suggestions- never would’ve tried anchovies before but they were a pleasant surprise. Attentive service, lovely cocktails & nice Friday night evening.
My partner and friends went here and we were super surprised! They have small plates and I highly recommend ordering a bunch of items and sharing. This is way more of a legit Japanese restaurant and not commercial sushi place. It is a tiny restaurant but boy they have great sushi, awesome tempura and whatever else was being brought out to other tables looked and smelled awesome! Looks like they also had cocktails and drinks! Highly recommend this join!
Having lived in Tokyo I was excited to discover this place. Long story short - the menu was unreasonably limited no udon - really. The service Carlos provided was extraordinary - always checking up on us. The sushi pieces were more like slivers of fish. Slightly over priced for the portions. Need to focus on substance vs show.
I have tried to call in a order twice now, the first time there hours showed they were open, when someone finally opened they just answered "hello" I thought I called the wrong number, so I apologized for the wrong number and disconnected. Checked the number called back again, finally someone answered again" hello" I asked if this was Shinjuku Station, they stated yes, I asked if I could place an order for pickup, they then hung up on me. Called back again, and the guy finally told me they were closed. Frustrating, since your hours show open but okay. Try again the next day, with door dash this time, my dasher then cancels the order, I call up there and explain what happened, asked if I could place an order for pickup, and was told that they are short staffed so they aren't doing to-go orders. Beyond frustrated, due to I love their food, I understand being short staffed, but not sure how that effects a to-go order vs an in person order.
Great food with great service.
