Management has bad attitude blames the customers and not the workers so sad
Had the great Wagyu burger. Never disappoints. Sam Jr and Mackenzie do an Awesome job running Sammies and you can’t find a better waitress then Marci, she always nails with her service and friendliness. Thank’s all, will be back soon!!
In state where BBQ is king, Sammie's is mid-range and adequate but not worth any accolades, especially for their prices ($30/person) I expected better and wasn't satisfied. Yes, they offer two sauces but the quality of the meats weren't up to par. The service was very good and the ambience is nice. They just don't make it worth settling for "adequate" in an area of other better offerings.
Place was awesome a few years ago, but hasn't recovered fully since Covid. Last two times i went they didn't have brisket and pork. both times i ended up at Angelo's.

Sammie’s was the first barbecue place I ever went to in Fort Worth when I moved there in 1979. Their ribs are the best you’ll ever have and so are the onion rings, not typically a barbecue specialty. This weekend my family held a celebration of life event in Sammie’s private room. I cannot praise enough the helpfulness and kindness of the Sammie’s staff, including Mackenzie, the catering manager, and Sammy himself. It was easy to book, easy to arrange the menu, the price was very reasonable, and the room itself was ideal. All in all, it was a perfect place for our gathering, and I will use Sammie’s again whenever I need a good restaurant for an event. Thank you so much for making our day a success!
Just passed by this place and turned around and came back, so glad I did. Had the ribs and they were definitely 5 star!! Seems like a fun local place, large. On my next visit from Florida, I will be back!!!!
Food is very good we ate the pull pork sandwich with french fries It was very very good the service is wonderful
I grew up eating at Sammie’s. It’s always been really good. It now has a new owner. The sausage, brisket and ribs are all very good. I was always a fan of the O-Rings and the chopped beef sandwich. While they are good now, they are nothing like the old Sammies. But I highly recommend eating here.
