Saltgrass is one of our favorite restaurants near home, that being said, your visit will be considerably better if you have an experienced server compared to some of the newer employees. John Q always takes care of us and goes out of his way to remember our order no matter how long it has been since we have seen him last. There was a long stretch during peak Covid where we had not dined in for a little over a year, when we returned he was the first to greet us. The patio is the best seating option on windy evenings during the summer, enjoy!
Food was amazing, server Maddy was best server so sweet and caring and made sure the whole family were taken care of, steak was great! Mac and cheese delicious, salad good meats cooked to perfection, loaded fries were super good
We went to saltgrass for dinner and we're looking forward to a wonderful meal but I was rather disappointed. For our appetizers we ordered the Rattlers because I had had them at another location previously. It seems like they skimped on the shrimp because the last time I had this appetizer every bite had a mouthful of shrimp whereas this one had loads of cheese and very little shrimp. For my meal,I ordered the redfish with lemon butter sauce topped with shrimp and crawfish. It looked delectable but when I bit into it, the blandest thing I've eaten out at a restaurant in a very, very, very long time.Chain restaurants are supposed to have quality control and taste identical from location to location but that is not what happened in our experience.My husband's steak was a good size but was not seasoned either. If one goes to restaurant and spends nearly a $100 you would expect the food to be exemplary but this location of saltgrass was a disappointment!
This is a great place, first time to dine here and what a wonderful experience, first off they have a super gluten sensitive menu with many different selections including appetizers and ice cream for dessert.I had a Pat's Ribeye it was cooked perfectly as well as the seasoning, Garlic mash were good, Broccoli was steamed perfectly.I also had an appetizer, the Jalapeños stuffed with shrimp, pretty spicy warm but full of flavor, yum.The service was outstanding as we were there for dinner and it was plenty busy.Looking forward to my next time eating here.
We wanted to eat here for mother's day. We expected a wait considering the day. I called their phone number to see what the wait was. The lady who answered said there was a decent wait but wasn't sure so she transferred me to a guy who told me the wait had just cleared and there was no wait. Awesome. We were 5 minutes away.We got to the restaurant and walked in. We were only a party of 5. The lady at the desk said 1:55 to 2 hour wait. I asked her how that was possible if the man on the phone 5 minutes ago just said there was no wait. She tried to tell me that it can fill up that fast in 5 minutes. She also informed me that there were no reservations for today and you had to be there for the wait.There is no way that enough people to fill up a 2 hour wait checked in during those 5 minutes. Do not tell me one thing on the phone just to get me to show up and then turn around and tell me the wait is 2 hours.
Ordered thro Ubereats, meal was fine except they did not include my baked potato, searched for a link to notify the restaurant but if oen exists, they hidden so well I can't find it. Could have called but didn't want to do so, I can order online, why not point out they did not include an item? A restaurant not accessible online is nto trying very hard.
I HAD THE RIBEYE ORDERED IT MEDIUM RARE IT WAS MEDIUM I BROUGHT IT TO MY SERVICE ATTENTION HE AGREED AND THEY COOKED ME ANOTHER ONE AND IT WAS DELICIOUS WHEN THE BEST STEAKS I'VE HAD SOMETIME I'LL BE BACK

Been eating here for years. Always great time… however, the last three visits were not good. Kept giving them another chance but I’m done. Salmon cold. Sweet potato cold (and had butter on it) I’m dairy free. Green beans were cold and shriveled like they had reheated or too dry from sitting. My husband and friend sent back their macaroni because it was cold. Things happen, but three times, cold food is too much for me. Also, one visit we all got the wrong food and never had refill on drinks.Positive - appetizers was good, bread was hot and waiter was awesome.
