The food was excellent but the service rubbed me the wrong way. This place is definitely not family/kid friendly. They only have one high chair and with our experience our family was seated first then shortly after another family came in also with a 2 year old and our waitress never offered us a high chair even though she saw us struggling to get our little one seated and she just catered more to the other family even though we ordered the same items and same group size ….. I will definitely eat here again I would just get it to go

Real food prepared by a real chef using fresh ingredients on a daily basis. A simple example, the fish tacos are made with real cod fillers not some frozen and overly battered scrod "whatever it may be be". The prices are very reasonable for the quality of menu options and its a local family run business, perfect!I've returned twice since writing the original review and it seems like the good word got out as its quite busy for lunch so I'd recommend to call ahead to ace your order if you're have a time limit. I've been there for a late lunch @ 2:30 and it was very relaxing with smaller crowd and classical music playing.

The gentleman (who I believe is the owner) that was taking our order was awesome! So funny. When my husband asked what recommended, he said fish and chips. It was AMAZING!! I had the avocado BLT panini. The food and staff was so awesome we went back the next day!! Highly recommend!!

What a gem this place is! Stumbled across it looking for a lunch spot one day. The Bisque selection is the best I've ever had, the paninnis are so good I've had 4 of them lol. This is my lunch spot 3 to 4 days a week. Love the service, atmosphere, everything about it!

Google wins again with this super cute restaurant out in the middle of nowhere. This is not some place that we would have normally tried, but after a googling restaurants and it popping up and the food looking phenomenal we went. We were not disappointed at all. Even the kids gobbled up the food. They typically don't. They typically will take two bites and say they're done. There was not a french fry chicken finger, pizza, burger left on their plate. I highly recommend this random out of the way restaurant for excellent food.

We met some friends here for a late lunch, and are we glad! We'd driven past here numerous times, one of those Let's-try-that-place-someday things. Today we finally got around to it.We've been missing out! Riverbend Bistro is a delight. The menu is pretty straightforward, with some interesting twists on old favorites.Asking Dita, our hostess, for suggestions, she recommended the fish & chips, which I tried. Fabulous! (See photo.)Others in our party had a variety of choices, and everyone was happy about it.We tried desserts -- red velvet cake and coconut cream cake. Wow. I'll need to fast for a week to pay for that, but worth every calorie.Friendly ambience, reasonable prices, great food, and an easy drive from my house -- about all I could want. Can't wait to come back.A word about Dita. She's very welcoming, friendly, helpful, and patient. Really brightens up the place.Give Riverbend a try. The excellent reviews are well-earned.

A hidden Gem!!Opened 4 years ago in the RiverBend Business Park, East, North East Fort Worth between Trinity & Randol Mill Rd on Handely Ederville- south of 121 going into Downtown FW.For the type or restaurant it is- the location is brilliant. It’s a ‘destination’ location. Not a better place to dine in a 5-10 mile radius. Google it! It will give you everything you want to know.If you try it out once…. You’ll be back…with friends.Sage Sakiri, Albanian, degreed chef from the Swiss culinary institute in Switzerland, is one of the best, talented chefs in the US.Sage owned and worked in Europe, New Jersey, downtown Manhattan, NYC restaurants for over 25 years. He was selected to cater opening and set up the restaurant at the SMU George Bush’s Dallas library. Most dishes on the menu is like what you could get at a 5 star Michelin restaurant- anywhere in the world….but for 1/3 the price. It’s a ‘foodie’ paradise . They will serve breakfast any time of the day, lunch or dinner (w dinner specials) and desserts are unbelievable! PLUS - it’s BYOB after 6pm so you can enjoy your favorite wine or adult beverage without the insane prices at upper scale restaurants.Open 7 days a week. Look for hours posted, call or look on website.PLUS he caters at Trinity Events venue next door to his Bistro or at your specific location. For the quality of food- (Michelin quality) dishes, you won’t believe what you get for the $ you spend. It’s by far, one of the best places to dine in N.E. - East Fort Worth and quite possibly anywhere in DFW’s ‘golden triangle’ - including Denton.Check it out!If you want to have a 5 star dinner in a laid back casual atmosphere, as economical as Chili’s or Denny’s while bringing your favorite wine or adult beverage- you won’t find a better deal anywhere in the DFW golden triangle. ENJOY!!

Amazing food at an unbeatable price! It's really hard to say what food is best here, because all of it is amazing. I would compare this establishment to a La Madeleine, or Jason's Deli. However the food is a lot more fresh here and the chef prepares it very well.

First try on this bistro. Ordered the Mustard and Beer entree, the fish had no flavor or seasoning and the batter was crisp but overcooked so the fish was crunchy. The fries were decent and even though this order was made while I waited. The fries were warm, not hot. Maybe a better experience dining at the bistro.

Absolutely fantastic. Our paninis were great! This is a delicious respite in an otherwise pretty barren industrial area. Lunch specials were reasonably priced and were a phenomenal value for the food quality. The menu was very diverse for being fairly small. Staff was super nice and the place was clean and neat. Something for everyone. Will definitely be going back!
