Stay away from this place, I couldn’t finish the 3 meat plate; ribs were tough to the bone, brisket was so tough even a knife had a hard time cutting it, only thing approved was the catfish. All I finished was the pickle, Mac and cheese and potato salad; def thumbs down, even a hot pocket would have been better lol.
I HIGHLY recommend 1,000,000,000 out of 10 recommend stopping by and eating here. We are from Kentucky and the food was EXCELLENT. The service we got from Sunshine was simply amazing taking care of us. Even after I told her my wife couldn't eat much due to weight loss surgery and I asked if we could share a plate she said "of course honey, you're in Texas. It is Texas sized anyways." ??. iI really can't say enough good things about my experience. So go to Riscky's and ask for Sunshine!!!
Catfish was good. Ribs were not hot (heat). The sides were not as flavorful as I hoped. Fried okra needed to be cooked longer for my taste. The fried onion strips were very good.Staff was friendly and helpful. The ratings is for the food.
Just down the street from the Hilton hotel, great place to eat, went back the next night of our stay and used again, friendly helpful staff and great food.
I got a pulled pork sandwich and it was good nothing spectacular. It comes with one barbecue sauce flavor. I was not impressed by the potato salad. I’ll still come again to try some of their other barbecue in the future. The staff was extremely friendly and the bathrooms were well-kept especially since I was there on a very busy day
Found this restaurant on the Yelp app, this restaurant has a great location. Very closer by the Main Street area and plaza.The host found me a table and suggested me the classic margarita. I ordered the three meat platter but I forgot all about the ribs. However the meats I ordered were tender and savory and the portions of the food were big and generous. I wish the bbq sauce was a little more smoky and spicy but that is just my personal preference.The server was very patient and the food was served fast and hot. The restaurant was busy and the staff was nice and very observant to customer needs.On my next visit I will try the ribs!
I’m not sure why this place isn’t rated higher, but it’s fantastic. Great bbq and a super awesome atmosphere.
Can just say delicious brisket. Also if you order the steak tips half of the plate is just fried fat. Very tasty still but half fat and half meat brisket. About $14 bucks. Then don't get the ribs not horrible but taste like if it was sitting out underneath a lamp all day. Fast seating and friendly staff. Mac and cheese, potatoes really all the the sides delicious. Tasty tacos. I'll be back again.
Food was delicious like always. The best beef ribs in town. The wait not bad. We were seated with in 20 minutes. Always enjoy taking a trip to the Stockyards❤
