Quality of food has gone down. I don’t know what changed. Management or hourly workers. Either way I ordered once and it was cold and not good. I gave it another try. My food was burned, hard and it looked like they just put sauce on it to cover it up. Will not be eating here again.
First time here. Played it safe with shrimp fried rice and eggrolls. Got it spicy with veggies. So good! Almost like home!(chicago). Clean small space but easy access for homeless to walk in get the free tea...that I don't like cause it happened while I was there.Very busy place but fast! I will be back!
The images on the drive-thru menu are not at all representative of the fried rice or lo mein.The image depicted the rice with shrimp and vegetables, but all I got was plain white rice and plain noodles with sauce.Very underwhelming and disappointing.
Lady taking drive thru order is rude. Then I ordered a sweet and sour chicken. Got home and no sauce. Went back to get it and they were out. Why weren’t we told they were out to begin with? Not going back.
This used to be my favorite go to place however the quality of food has changed over the years and it hasn’t been for the better. I ordered fried rice and it was horrible. I cannot tell if it was undercooked or just burnt but there was a surprise crunch with every bite. ?
Sadly something has changed here. Don't be in a hurry as the wait time is high. At times 20 minutes or higher . It feels like they let orders gain up then process all at once (instead of one at a time) , then pull everyone through the window back to back for payment. For the third time I've ordered " the Phoenix combo" and sweet and sour is missing (( not kidding 3rd time )) . This use to be my go to . I'm breaking up with you. It's not me it's you.
Ok so I come here usually when I want some shrimp fried rice because the reviews sold me AND they lived up to the reviews every other time this place is not consistent I ordered soups and they taste like containers of salt nobody in my family would touch them on top of that I waited a good while hey no rush AND I ordered a few other things the other plate I ordered was barely any of the protein but loads of the rice they give I guess that's what people love I just wanted what I ordered
Ordered shrimp fried rice literally had 3 shrimp…. Ordered beef friend rice no veggies no onions and it had veggies and onions. I had even told her to repeat it so how is it still wrong. Not to mention they give you random prices as well never coming back again disgusting
I didn’t stop there over 2 Months now I used to be a customer, I decided to give them another chance, I ordered combo fried rice and was so disappointed again the Rice it’s not cooked all the way it’s hard like eating uncooked crunchy Rice. Lo Mein was terrible taste like burn food too much sauce, you need to hire New cook or something because this is not right we pay for a service and we deserve a good quality of food.I’m just done with this place.
My go to is Panda Express but a friend insisted I try Rice Express. Ordered the General Tso chicken and I'm very disappointed. Two HUGE scoops of fried rice and about 15 small pieces of "chicken". I say "chicken" because it tasted like breading balls with minimal to no chicken in them. Will not be trying this again. Not worth the $7.50 I paid. Panda Express is right down the road.
