First time I have ever left a one star review for any company and this is why. I have been to this particular Popeyes drive thru twice now, once at night an hour before they closed and once in the morning about 15-20 minutes after they opened and BOTH times I just sat there by the sign, patiently waiting with my car idling, expecting someone at some point to take my order. Never happened. No acknowledgement, no "Sorry, we'll be right with you." The only reason I actually knew there were staff in the building was because I saw them in the drive thru window as I drove away in disgust. I can't rate the service because it was non-existent. I can't rate the food because I never got any either time. I decided to make the trip to the Popeyes on South Freeway instead and although their drive thru staff is rude and unfriendly, I at least was able to service from them. Won't ever come back to this Popeyes again and I suggest you all save yourself the disappointment and find another location.
This has got to be one of the SLOWEST DRIVE-THRU's on the PLANET!!! Every single Sunday, the drive-thru is backed up onto the street, starting as early as 12pm. With in-room dining being CLOSED, you'd THINK this location would be staffed appropriately to accommodate their Sunday traffic. It's like they're cooking each order, to order, once u place your order! I absolutely HATE coming here, but sometimes we crave their potatoes & gravy & red beans for sides. We come here ONLY when our options are limited. Crazy part is that this place hasn't changed in YEARS!! I blame this on the owner for not having the right people in place to run the business! We've, literally, been in line for 45 mins. Got here AT 12pm.?????♀️
I recently visited the popeyes located on altamesa Blvd in Fort Worth. With the worst customer service. I typically do not like to complain, as I understand staff shortage. I asked for four number 10 spicy sandwich combos, and was given four chicken tender baskets, as I always check my order. I then called the restaurant which had a closed lobby, and was told kindly that I must come around the line again. I asked if there was a way to avoid the long wait line, and they said no, as they were short staffed. I come around, get to the speaker and told them again my situation. He then proceeds to say "Just come around the window, and will get you taken care of" I proceed by asking, do I stay in line or just come around the window?" He then says, "Just come around the window", so I got out of line, came around the window, and thought maybe my order was done?. I waited parallel parked next to a car the window, and finally got a guys attention at the window. I asked if I could take the wrong order to the window?, and he very rudely replied, "No mam you have to get back in line, we can't play favorites here". I replied with, "well it's not my fault you guys gave me the wrong order". I then cut in front of a kind lady who I explained my order situation. I get to the window with not one single "sorry about that". 8 minutes i get my cold sandwich and fries, with no sorry again. I forgot to mention the guy who initially gave me my drinks at the window, questioned my order like 4 times, and never handed me a receipt. 50 minutes later I'm finally headed home. With the worst service ever. We understand there are staff shortage, but this was beyond. I know this message may or may not be heard, but at least I attempted to make myself heard. I'm glad I had the time to write this long message as I wait in line waiting for my food
Went through the drive thru and they gave me the wrong order called to tell them and the were no help. They didn’t give me a receipt. They repeated the correct order to me but it was not what they gave me. They pretty much told me there was nothing they can do and then hung up on me. It’s not my fault they didn’t give me the receipt. Plus I paid way more than what they gave me.
The drive thru was a really long wait with out that many cars in line. The inside was closed and it was only 8:30 pm. I would have rather made the drive to another one. I'll never come back to this location.
I have given this spot more than deserved chances. Their food is always old and they always forget a portion of what you order, first time I figured I went too late and they stopped "cooking", second time I chalked it up to staffing issues, 3rd time I demanded fresh offered to wait and still was old all 3 times they forgot the blackened ranch I paid for..I stopped going for 8 months and switched to "Louisiana's famous fried chicken" which is always fabulously fresh and served with a smile BTW and highly underrated. I go back today craving the Popeye taste and not only were the fries old and soggy but bone freaking cold! People pay hard earned good money for their garbage. If ur gonna serve old food how bout you discount it, there'll be a line of the sorts that'll go for that. As for me I want what I pay for.
Picked up a online order but the chicken was dry and hard to chew. Next time I will ask them to make me some fresh fried chicken.
Well I was really craving some Popeyes chicken and I happen to go tonight when it was only one car ahead of me in the drive thru.I had a 3 piece with Mac and cheese. The chicken I was given was so small I thought I had a miniature addition of a kids plate. It was dry and the chicken pieces were very small it was old and stringy.One of the drum sticks didn’t even have crust on it. The Mac and cheese side was smaller than the biscuit they gave me. The bowl it came in had plenty of room in it.Popeyes has the audacity to ask customers to be patient because they are short staffed. What difference does it make when were patient for you being slow and we pay for something that we can’t eat?????Needless to say I was still hungry and got ripped off.
Serving food that should have been removed from rack. Chicken over cooked. When I got home my order was incorrect. I will not go there again.
Posted closing time states 800 pm. I get they want to get out cos if the holiday but coming through the drive thru 40 minutes prior to closing wanting only rice and beans and being told THEY ARE OUT OF EVERYTHING and when I ask again I was told they’re closed twice. Lights are on everywhere. Suggestion, when you close turn off outside and menu lights, customers aren’t stupid. Sorry guess you can tell I’m a little upset.
