My son treats me to a restaurant meal every Fathers Day. This is the place I chose today. We passed on the appetizer menu and started our meal with the complimentary chips and salsa. Chips are thin and crispy, just the way I like them. Warm salsa is tasty with a nice touch of heat but could be thicker. For entrees I had the Plato del Padre that comes with a lobster tail, shrimp brochette, beef and chicken fajitas, rice and charro beans. I opted for refried beans. Nick had the Sweet Chili Quail with rice and charro beans. Everything was very good except the rice which was very dry, and the only reason I didn't give them a rating of five. We also had a couple of their Grande Reserva Margaritas. They were great and very potent. Don't drink more than one unless you have a designated driver. Our server, Alisha, was very attentive and personable. Everything is expensive so I can only recommend it for special occasions and suggest you make a reservation because they can get crowded, even on weeknights.
Staff were very nice and friendly. The chips are fresh made. The salsa wasn’t anything special and I didn’t eat more than a bite.I got the pappasito grill. I don’t normally pay attention to the sides but these were the BEST beans I have ever eaten at a Mexican restaurant. The tortillas were also fresh made and delicious.Would definitely recommend
I haven't been here in 10+ years, it was my wife's 1st time. We started with a bowl of guac, which was great. The chips and salsa also delicious. I got a zombie margarita, it was ok. Wife got some pineapple fruity drink, she said it wasnt sweet, more sour so she gave that to me also and we got her a margarita, which was on point. We ordered the mixed fajitas for 2. They were awesome... Perfectly tender chicken and steak. We will definitely go back again. Our server was nice and attentive also. Had the drinks been stronger I would've given 5 stars
First time going here. The atmosphere was superb. The staff was friendly and gracious. Our waiter was awesome he took care of all our needs and drink suggestions were right on. The margaritas were the best I've had. They have the best Tex-Mex food around. The steak fajitas cooked to perfection. They were tender and juicy. The pork ribs were tender and to die for. The chicken fajita meat was moist and flavorful. The bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with jalapenos are delicious. We are definitely going back in the near future. I would give them 7 stars if possible.
The food was excellent! My go to order is the Pappasito's grill (beef & chicken fajitas, bacon wrapped shrimp, grilled vegetables, Pico with pineapple, comes with rice and beans, and the best butter for dipping! Seriously, order extra!).This time we decided to split the Pappasito's Grill. So we each ordered a cup of the tortilla soup. The soup was delicious, I will definitely order again!I also tried the Wave (frozen margarita and sangria swirl) with salt on the rim, another winner! The reason for the 3 stars is the service. We sat at the bar (which is our usual seats of choice if offered). Our initial greeting was great, Peter welcomed us and gave us some menus, that was the one and only time we were checked on without flagging them down.We think we were handed off to Alieth, because Peter's shift was over, or because they were supposed to be working the bar together, we weren't told but neither checked on us. Alieth was on her phone, or talking with other employees, and Peter was trying to manage things. We were served our soup with our entree (we were expecting it out first), we had to flag them down to ask for napkins, silverware, more salsa, the extra butter we ordered, and the check. When the food was delivered by Alieth and someone else, they didn't ask if everything was OK or if we needed anything, the food was just put in front of us and then they walked away. We had to get their attention to ask for the missing items. There was a bar back type guy that checked on us, he refilled our drinks, and i appreciated that.I'm very disappointed in this visit. We will go back, because hopefully this is an isolated incident and the food is amazing!
How Mexican food should be! But pricey! Great place to eat! Fresh food, GREAT SALSA, big selection! Can't go wrong!
Pappasito's....nice atmosphere, great food, and great margaritas!!The prices are outrageous!!!I went for lunch and the enchilada plate I had cost damn near 20 bucks. With an enchilada plate, that's 4 enchiladas, rice and beans, two margaritas and a beer. My bill was $70 bucks......for lunch.....?
I usually come with my co workers after 5 for dinner. We usually order the Queso with tortillas and some margaritas. I also ordered the fajitas for 2 which I think is a pretty good since there's more than enough food to satisfy both parties. Food is out in a timely manner and is always great. We also get great servers who are attentive and prompt. I would definitely recommend.
Had a great experience here. The food was delicious and our server went above and beyond to make our night special.
Literally bringing 20-30 friends from executives/producers in the film and tv industry to enjoy the amazing Tex-mex.. and they flat out refused to accommodate us. All I wanted was a private room, which was available.. and they told me I had to just show up and see. They flat out told me to take my group somewhere else, because it would "inconvenience them". The GM was on vacation, so obviously he needs new under management that understands customer service. I love Papasito's but I will never goto this location again. Nor will the 30 people that are in the media that was going to be there with me. Highly disappointed.
