Poke bowl was so good. I had tuna. I loved the spicy mayo sauce. Great place to order from. It is a quick serve, so you order at the counter and then they make it. Definitely will be back!
I really wanted to like their Poke Bowl but ended up super disappointed. It’s mainly rice. The tuna portions are cut crazy small. I paid for an extra scoop of tuna and feel like I didn’t get my moneys worth at all. The pineapple is from a can and too sweet. The tuna was also very dry, I wish they’d have added more sauce. I’m giving two stars because it didn’t taste awful and also it was a beautiful presentation but it left me dissatisfied for sure.If you’re looking for awesome Poke I’d recommend Poke-Poke on W. Magnolia Ave or Tokyo Cafe on Pershing Ave.
This place is the best! I have not tried the poke but the BBQ chicken, chicken katsu, and takoyaki are amazing! The food portions are good and the prices are also great. But, I wish I could eat in sometimes instead of takeout.
Just came off a 7 hour trip and was going to get a quick sub, but saw this place first. Got the house special and my gf got the C6 bbq platter with katsu chicken. We loved it! The cream cheese puffs are probably the best I've had to date. Gotta try this place.
The poke was fresh and yummy and my husband really enjoyed the Hawaiian BBQ plate. The portions were decent. It's not like a sit down restaurant they serve everything in to go containers and there are just a couple tables and you clean up after yourself. They served the food and took payment and then disappeared to the back somewhere. For those prices ($15+/plate) I'd expect sit down service. Good food but kinda pricey it was almost $50 for 2 entrees and an appetizer w 2 bottled sodas.
Was hoping to taste some good Hawaiian food. Tasted like overly salted Chinese food and spiked my heart rate which is a first for me. Was not good at all.
This is one of my go to spots for poke and I’m a poke enthusiast. Once you arrive at the store, they have a poke list where you choose what options you’d like on your poke. Once you turn in your list, they make it fairly quickly and you have the option of leaving a tip once it’s time to pay. The serving size is fairly large. The presentation is colorful and looks stunning. The ingredients are fresh; out of all the times I’ve been here, I have never seen any old looking ingredients in my bowl. You create your own bowl, they don’t have preset bowls that you order from. There is a large variety of toppings and sides to choose from and your choice is unlimited. Not to mention it tastes fantastic. In my opinion, this place is one of the better places in Fort Worth to get poke from that’s not white washed.
I absolutely love Hawaiian BBQ and was surprised to run across this place. Had the bbq beef plate lunch and it did not disappoint. Will certainly be back now that I know it's here
Ordered the Kalua pork...was a big pile of very tasty shredded smoked pork, and very lean which I loved. I ordered the smaller size and still had enough leftover for lunch the next day.
Driest BBQ pork I've ever had, spam/rice ratio on matsubi is extremely rice heavy, and Mac is way too wet and tastes of soap.Might be a bad batch, but man, not a good impression.
