Great food at reasonable price.
Ordered Chow Mein, got something else entirely. Didn't bother me that the dish was wrong, but dear God whatever it was was inedible.Ordered the fried wantons which had the least amount of (disgusting)filling I've seen in anything and the dough was fried till it became rock hard. The BBQ ribs are honestly something I wish I hadn't consumed.Kitchen is quite dirty if you take the time to look around, and the staff seems like they just want to get the job done and GTFO.Never coming back here, do not recommend at all.
Food was not good. No flavor.Delivery driver asked for a tip. I live a mile away. Food was wrapped nicely though.
Today was my first last time here. Food was so bland. No flavor what so ever. Rice was burned and hard. One of the worse Chinese restaurants
When my family decides to eat Chinese food, my vote is always for ming wok. The price, the large portion sizes, and the taste make their food all but impossible to beat. My large family usually buys a few dinners and we share them over 3 or 4 different meals.
Good. No frills. Pick it up promptly and it will be hot and fresh. If you get delivery, I strongly suggest using their in-house driver. If it is a very busy time, at least they will be able to coordinate for best possible results. Uber at your own risk. Tip.It is a neighborhood kitchen. You will find items working families here have come to expect on the menu. The execution is fine, they have generous portions, and while they have made small price increases over the years (like ALL businesses,) they are still inexpensive. They will make it spicy if you ask. We love to order orange, sesame, or garlic chicken, beef and broccoli, pork lo mein, steamed dumplings, curry, hot and sour soup, etcetera, and the egg rolls. The egg rolls have a substantial wrap, not the flaky kind. They are extremely consistent. I like that I can always taste plenty of pork and black pepper. I like that they are fried to a freakin CRISP. (The Panda Express mushy chicken slop grosses me out.) And yes, the sweet and sour sauce is worth asking for.Our family has been customers for 30 years. MingWok is a family business, and they’ve had ups and downs, like every other business. Overall, they have been reliably hot and tasty. COVID was hard on restaurants, including Ming Wok. Tbh, I’m glad they were able to stay afloat. We’ve seen places come and go. MW is a neighborhood institution. If you don’t like the way many Chinese restauranteurs show RESPECT— by getting you what you want ASAP w/o bs— then please go to a drive-thru franchise so they can feed you undercooked, prepackaged slop with a fake smile. If you don’t want to pick it up as fast as they make it, let them know you’re gonna be there later, instead of getting mad about the food you let cool off. If you are unable to discern whether the gal on the phone can say “shrimp fried rice,” because she has an accent— then you better work on your own English.
I am really enjoying this restaurant. I was able to get a large portion of steamed veggies and chicken without sauce (super healthy option at my request). It also came with a separate box of steamed white rice and an egg roll for under $10I always get 2-3 meals from the entree I order.??? They also have a lot of options. I got the egg drop soup last time and it was better than most places.
Pretty good little take-out only Chinese restaurant. I’ve been eating from here for a few years now and so far I enjoyed everything I tried. Be sure to tip the staff, they work hard and give you a lot of food for such a low price!
Food was not good and definitely don't like the covid restrictions that almost every restaurant around has lifted. Took a super long time to get order.
We had a very large order. These folks handled our order perfectly, quickly and delivered everything perfectly we will definitely ordernfrimnhere again.
