In the area for business and my client said this place is a must go.The food was average and nothing amazing, but want to share the dirty utensils and dishes that are provided for the customers to use. It's a self service location and you will get your own drinks, side dishes and utensils after paying for the food. They need a new dishwasher or hire someone who can do a better job on washing the dishes. After seeing the dirty forks and bowls, I lost my appetite and didn't get to enjoy my food much.
Surprisingly, it’s one of the best places I ate a brisket. Sides are mouth watering, the pie is soooo good, portions are more than enough, and the price is unbelievable!I thought it will be a one time kinda thing, but we loved it, I definitely am going back, and I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to get a decent real Texas style brisket!Staff was very friendly and helpful, the bread buns are fresh and incredibly shockingly good.I always thought Terry’s black is the best place to try a good brisket, but this is a hidden gem that you should add to your bucket list!
Let’s be honest… the food is just not that good. The mac is weird and congealed, meat is dry, and there’s no baked beans! Service is nice and ambience is cool but for 17/pp buffet style it’s a skip for me.
This place is amazing. First time here and was very impressed with the customer service and the meat was exactly how should have been. Brisket was on point. Highly recommend.
Fantastic fried catfish!!! Had my very first "Hushpuppies". Very friendly staff. We'll definitely return again ?
Friendly service. Excellent food. We had the brisket, turkey, coleslaw, broccoli-cheese rice casserole, and the large sweet dinner roll. Two sauces, a regular Carolina and a slightly thicker spicy sauce, nicely satisfied our individual tastes. Easy access from the local hotels. We did takeout but would consider dine in next time. The peach cobbler was an impulse buy at checkout but well worth it.
The BEST brisket in DFW, maybe the whole world. Period. Full Stop. End of story. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Always clean. Sides are spot on too. Go waste your time and money at the tourist traps but I'll be at LONE STAR.
I recently ordered a meal on-line and I was disappointed that once I got there they hadn't fixed my order the gentleman said he thought it was for the 20th and it was the 18th Well ok I bought it. But then I get home after blindly trusting order-was correct. It was suppose to be a chef salad and I got a salad with brisket pieces on top. It was not appetizing in the least. My friend whom I ordered it for refused to eat it.
Everything we ate here was delicious. 3 different bbq flavors, regular, mild and hot. The prices were fair and i liked the little bar for pickels, onions etc...
I wanted to comment on what good portion sizes they have here. I've eaten here several times and have thoroughly enjoyed my food I also think they have a very good work ethic because the owner answers the phone on occasion.
