This location always cooks the food fresh. I've been to locations (Sycamore School Rd) and the fish is not fresh. Staff is friendly and try to get you in and out as quickly as your order will allow.
Lisa's has the best chicken tenders in town but you have to get them cooked fresh. If you get old ones they're no good.
I’m From Houston So I’ve Experienced A Lot Of Fried Chicken Spots. I Love Chicken. I Was Taken Here By A Friend. It Was Okaay. Not The Best I’ve Ever Had But I Enjoyed The Meal For What It Was.
This place is hit or miss. Consistency of the fried chicken is not always the same. Employees come across as rude.
So, my family and I have been buying Lisa's chicken from this specific location for well over 7 years. I love sitting inside and watching them make our food. It has always been fresh, even when they are busy. It may look like that have old chicken sitting up there but a sat there one day and just watched before I ordered. As much chicken as they would prepare, it would go out almost just as fast as they could make it. This is one reason why we keep going back. In all these years, the recipe has remained the same, unlike other restaurants that change the ingredients to make a larger profit at the cost of changing the taste, but not here. Always fresh, and always crispy, and always delicious chicken and more. Sorry no picture, we always forget to take a picture till it's all gone. Haha... yeah, it's that good.
Good and juicy dark meat fried chicken but chicken strips were dry. Sometimes fried fish is good but sometimes it is a very thin filet of fish. But you are paying what you got.
If you want some fresh fried catfish, this is the place to go! Generous portions for a fair price. Piping hot when they give it to you!
I love Lisa's Chicken... but I loved gas being 2.79 even more especially since gas everywhere else was 3.00 plus!
