I feel as if I have a moral responsibility to share this review.The main issue I have with this location in general is the attitude of the manager and overall cleanliness. Lets start with cleanliness. I am a taller person, so I'm able to see over the counter a bit into the boba-making area. There is an issue underneath the sink with some sort of black mold. Its honestly very concerning and should be a health hazard. Also, my biggest concern is that is that no soap is used throughout the day. While Waiting for my drinks I've watched the employees use merely their bare hands and water to clean blenders, cups, tops, basically everything that is used to make the boba. I know there is no soap used because the soap dispenser has been empty every single time I've ordered tea, and I've never seen the employees use it. They are open 10 or so hours a day, and going that long reusing the same couple blending cups without soap concerns me a bit.The manager herself isn't very friendly from my interactions with her. She seems to only care about the employees who have been there for years, and I witnessed her tell one of her new hires who simply asked which order belonged to what customer to "use common sense" in the most demeaning tone. It made me want to hug that sweet employee because the manager had them doing dishes after all the orders were complete while the older employees were on their phones. Made me quite sad to see that happen, I hope the new employee realizes their worth and quits.Overall, please clean the black mold, standing water on the floor (which i didn't even mention) and USE SOAP! To the manager, please get a better attitude with customers and employees! You need to be treating the employees better!
Let me save you the trip and advise you to go to Feng Cha which is a few minutes down the street, wayyyy better service and better drinks.We ordered two drinks, their special oreo one and a taro milk tea...both of which tasted very diluted and watered down.To keep it short, the main reason for this 1 star rating is the fact that when we asked for one of the drinks to be remade we were denied that option. We were told the only thing they could do is add sugar...no refund, no remake, this is HORRIBLE service. You can't fix a messed up drink with sugar.Sure enough since we had no choice, we tried it with extra sugar and it did nothing to make it taste like what you pay for. The Taro was pale, not even purple...We took ourselves to Feng Cha and ordered other drinks there. We also emailed corporate regarding this incident at this location.Kung Fu tea in the Carrolton location/ Korea town was wayyyy better than this location.
Manager yelled at me 3 times, over others standing around, while I was trying to speak to someone about the taste of my tea. First visit and i tried a tea, by the way they have no fruit milk teas, after being suggested to try one. She refused to trade my drink for a different type, as the one I got tasted like cough syrup. She also stated they dont do refunds and told me to leaveAll I wanted was a tasty fruit flavored milk tea with boba.NEVER will we go back! She even used the words "its common sense: to know what I should want.???
You can tell a lot about a place from how clean the bathrooms are. You can see your damn reflection on the floor of the bathrooms here! The place is just as clean everywhere else, and service is great. Perfect place to try out boba tea drinks
It's a little out of my way, but when I am over this direction I love frequenting this place. Always great drinks!
Great tea,drinks and etc....I always do my order online and is always on time. The only complaint is they no follow the order request. Example: easy on ice and they do the opposite(extra). ??♀️
Really cute atmosphere, and the drinks are always great. The staff is friendly. I also really like how convenient it is to just walk in and pick up my drink order.
Just want to say yesterday was a lot of fun! The strawberry frosty was great. Wendy said she had fun too.
The tea I had wasn't my fav I have ever gotten but was good. The staff isn't very friendly though. And we're more interested in their conversation than talking to the customers. How to order and where to pick up drinks is confusing..l will go again if I am on that side of town.
The drinks are pretty good. But whatever you do, DONT TRY THE MACAROONS! They are incredibly overpriced and absolutely awful. It was a complete waste of $16 for a 6 pack.
