I worked instacart 2/23 it was about 5:30pm and had to return an order to the store I had shopped at. Normal procedures, not super common but it happens. I went to customer service and brought the order back and informed them of the situation and was told that some of the items on the order wouldn't be returned because they were perishables. Which I believe is standard in most cases with grocery return. But this wasn't what was upsetting to me. It was then after going back and forth between instacart and trying to make sure I followed instructions correctly that the lady that wasn't wearing a name badge, she did say her name was Linda, told me that she was just too busy to now accept the order. Which instacart was amazing and understanding enough despite this employee refusing to help me after maybe 5 minutes of her time, I was able to resolve. Not through kroger but through instacart. Never been treated this way as an instacart shopper. I absolutely love what I do and I am still perplexed as to why this lady felt the need to treat me like this.
Have been out of town for the past 10 days and went to the store this morning to restock our kitchen. Arrived at the store at 9:20 a.m. The only carts at the entrance were the small carts which hold very few items. No full size carts inside. Went back outside to see if there any carts in the cart corrals in the parking lot. None there either. Left and drove to Brookshires in Aledo where I spent $175. Kroger that is one sale you lost this morning.
Never again!! I have been saying this about this particular Kroger since before Covid. Poorest customer service ever!!! I just left that store at 8:45 AM and there were no checkers! Now I know almost every business is having personnel issues however what I observed at this Kroger this morning was not ok!! There was one lady working a money order cigarette etc. counter, two ladies working the self check out with lines all the way down the aisle and my buggy was full of groceries. I asked to speak to the manager but of course they said he was not there!! My dad owned a chain of 35 convenient stores and I have been a manager of several. I just took one look around that store of all the personnel and there absolutely could’ve been at least one if not two check out counters open!! This is after all December 16! I don’t know if this is a corporate policy of no checkout counters open until after 9 AM or if it’s just this particular Kroger!! If this is a corporate policy you should at least give your customers a room to check out their own buggies FULL of groceries! Every time I ask a cashier a question they just shrugged their shoulders and said no the answer was no sorry we cannot open a checkout line!! Lines all the way down the Isle!! I spend over $100 every time I’ve ever went in that store and I have a shop that store since the 80s!! I spent $149 this morning checked out my own groceries which is fine I am perfectly capable of doing that however no counter space whatsoever!! Never again!! No one cares about customer service anymore!! Ok rant over!! One last thing you will not force me to pay to have my groceries delivered Kroger! I will go to Central Markek or H-E-B from now on!!
Great pharmacy. Not so much for the store. Be prepared to fetch a cart from the parking lot, as I have done three times in the last two weeks. Checkout is laughable, be ready to wait. Goodbye Kroger, hello somewhere else.
I only Eben partially kinda like this Kroger bc it's the only one I've got!The product selection is nill. Shoot the product STOCK is nill! The shelves are almost ALWAYS bare. The checkout lines are usually halfway down the aisles. It's ridiculous! But the staff is decent and that makes it barable!!
Worst Kroger I have ever been to. The customer services was rude and just straight up lie to me. I need to transfer some money back home using western union and they told me that I need to be 21 to do it. A completely lie western union require u to be 18 with a id to send money not 21. Just tell me you don't want to services me.
I typically have a good experience at kroger, but last night 12/13 we were treated like garbage. My husband and I were at the register getting checked out. the cashier Sandra and the girl bagging Valentina were talking to each other in front of customers about how Kroger doesn't pay well, and they don't know how kroger expects to get employees at such a low wage. Valentina was bagging our glass pasta sauces very rough, and my husband said: "can you please stop slamming our glass?" Valentina immediately in a condescending tone replied "do you want to do it yourself?" My husband said yes, and had to bag the rest of our groceries himself" Sandra, the cashier said some comment approving Valentina's behavior. They both have a sh*tty attitude and obviously don't care about their job or customers.
I just wish they were keeping up with modern smart home' products! Your shoppers need convenient access to smart appliances like coffee makers, toasters, smart plugs/outlets/switches, .etc. If none of the above smart devices, at the very least give the consumer access to smart lights/bulbs!!! Not doing so, tells tech savvy shoppers that you don't want their business! That they should go to places like Wal-Mart where they can get groceries and the smart bulbs they need! Just my humble opinion.
My go-to store to purchase groceries since 2015. Courteous and efficient staff. Competitive prices. Fresh produce. In the rare instance of a problem, they want to resolve quickly and effectively.
This store ruins my whole mood for the day Everytime i go! So much so, I sadly quit going. I love Krogers but this location needs mega help. One of the only stores around besides busy busy walmart. Theres never never any shopping carts to use and its not like there piled up in the parking lot they just must not have alot I dont know but how the heck are you to shop shop without a cart!!! Taco bell right by yall is even getting a remodel. I say wayyyy past time for yalls remodel! Order more buggies while your at it??
