When I was a kid, I loved going to the International House of Pancakes. IHOP was a fun place to get fluffy pancakes topped with gooey sweet syrups. But it’s turned into ? and I’ve had enough with IHOP. I’ve given plenty of opportunities at several different locations and I just think it’s an IHOP thing in general. None of the food that is displayed and marketed on the menu or online even look like the food that is served. The portions versus their pricing just doesn’t make sense either. The staff at every location I’ve been to - Beach St, North Tarrant, HWY 170, Saginaw, NRH, Arlington, etc. - if there is anyone willing to work, just doesn’t care either. It was last Friday night at 9pm when we showed up. A FRIDAY NIGHT. You’d think you’d get, at minimum, decent service on a weekend but ??‍♂️. It took about five minutes to even be seated because no one was present at the hostess stand. The floor was full of food and trash. Tables around us still had dishes left from other guests. And no telling how long those plates were there. Once we were sat, it took about another 5 to 10 minutes to even be greeted and an additional five minutes to get six waters. After putting in our order, now over 25 minutes of us being there, we patiently waited and watched our food sit on the warmer shelf. Only 5 out of the 6 meals that we ordered were served. 2 of the 3 kid meals weren’t correct and looked nothing like the pictures. The “minion” pancakes came out with the toppings on the side in little cups. So we make our food now? My food was cold and of course, incorrect. I didn’t bother sending it back since our waitress was nowhere to be found. My oldest had to wait another 10 minutes for his to be served and guess what? Yup, it was not correct. If you ask for your bacon to be cooked well done, they will serve you floppy and chewy ?. The crazy thing is, I still tipped the waitress, who is 8-9 months pregnant ??25%. I know the restaurant industry is tough but c’mon. Idk what it is but ihop needs to get it together. It’s not difficult to treat your customers with respect and give effort. This is the last time I step foot in an IHOP. Waffle House or Denny’s are way better and that says a lot. I rather enjoy my eggs with a side of cigarette ash and witness a stabbing, a fight outside and be propositioned for a “good time” than sit and watch the entire ihop wait staff hang out next to the kitchen while my glass has been empty for 8 minutes. Y’all suck.

This morning was my first time to actually try this location. I used Grubhub for pickup and it was super easy and seamless! My food was ready at the stated time and the food was freshly off the grill. The employee at the counter was efficient and made sure everything was in my order before I left.I ordered the chicken and waffles, the tenders weren’t freshly breaded (the long frozen kind), but they didn’t taste bad. Fresh oil was used to fry them. I also ordered the kids funny face pancake, the strawberry banana French toast, split decision breakfast and chocolate milks. We enjoyed everything!

The service here has been less than perfect for a while but who expects perfect after COVID-19. However, I do expect to get my food in a reasonable amount of time and I don't expect to stand at the checkout counter 15 minutes waiting to cash out my bill while everyone walks around me. Then someone finally ask if I'm waiting to pay my ticket, I said yes, then I get to wait again until she finds my server. Smh!!!!! What is going on???!!!

Tried to have breakfast this morning there. I get it I know it's a holiday and they were busy but they seated us and then three others couples maybe five minutes after us. We sat there for 15 minutes and noone said a thing to us but served the other 3 couples first. When we finally were able to get a waitress not on her phone the lady decided what we wanted without asking us. A little customer service goes along way even if you're busy. If you can't handle the crowd don't sit people.

I don’t typically like to just leave a 1 star but I could only give a star for being seated. When I arrived they were not busy. Someone came up and sat us then left. We waited for someone to show up for our drinks as the first person didn’t ask us. As we waited looking at the menu about 5 minutes went by and at this time another couple was sat next to our table. At this time their waitress took their drink order. Still no one came to our table even though we were first. Next she brings their drinks back and starts to take their order. Once again it was about 10 minutes and we were here before the other couple. As I looked over I saw the waitress that sat us down began to take someone else’s drink order and completely disregarded us. At this moment we were frustrated and just left. They didn’t even realize we left. I gave this IHOP time since they had bad reviews when they first opened. Well that didn’t help it seems. I don’t see us coming back to this location.

The service here is good. It's not a place we go because to experience unforgettable service, but the servers work hard and we always have what we need. I do feel bad for them that they don't have a dedicated break room and they have to eat/drink in a corner of the dining room where customers can see them and interrupt them. I think if they had a place to rest, it would make a huge difference in the demeanor of the whole staff. The food is average, but good portions for the price and always fresh/hot.The management isn't really interested in hearing what you have to say, even if it's positive feedback praising a server. There's nothing about this IHOP that keeps me from going back, and at the same time, it's never at the top of my list of places I must go to.

Normal iHop experience with an amazing waiter. He was so nice and very helpful. Never had an empty at the table.Reason for 4 stars: eggs were a bit tasteless and not cooked completely (I know restaurant scramble is normally a bit wet, but these were straight runny in the middle).Rest of the food was perfect.

Our waitress Leah/Leia was great. She took our order without pen & paper, remembered and brought our food exactly as ordered, was attentive and very polite. Needless to say, though I will anyway, we were highly impressed and will remember the experience. The food was good and we will come again.

The wait was rediculous for a Togo order. I understand being short staffed but that is NOT what this was. The manager even told me "they (ccoks) saw it was a Togo order so they moved the dine ins ahead of it". I sat there waiting 40 minutes!! Kept getting excuse after excuse for it taking so long. While waiting I listened to the manager cash out tables telling them "we don't make change, most use a debit card" it wasn't like they were paying with a $100 it was a $20 bill. The whole experience was just nonsense. Save yourself time and money (the food is never correct here) and go somewhere else.

I received poor customer service. I placed an order for curbside pickup, but I did not receive curbside pickup. I used the Ihop app and sent notification of arrival. There was plenty of parking upon my arrival and I saw some Ihop employees chatting outside so I thought my order would be right out. I waited over 20 minutes, but no one came out with my order. I called and waited, but no one answered. I went inside to check on my order and a customer was complaining to the hostess about still waiting on an order as well. When the hostess walked to the back to check, another employee asked to help me and I told her I'd been waiting outside over 20 minutes for my order. The employee turned around and retrieved my order from the shelf behind her. Another customer informed me that they witnessed my order sitting there for over 20 minutes since they had been waiting. I received no explanation nor apology for the wait. When I checked my bag the side order of hashbrowns looked like a butchered sample size. Upon leaving I noticed there seemed to be plenty of employees available to greet you as you came in, but none actually giving out orders or answering the phone.
