Great tasting old fashion burgers and fries. Friendly staff. Very close to the historic Fort Worth Stockyards. Parking is a bit snug but manageable. The location is also part of scenes in Yellowstone. Check them out.
? burgers were great! DELICIOUS Took me back to my momma cooking me burgers when I was a kid. FRIES were a little oil logged for my taste like old or redunked ? fries but I ate them.
The food was decent, but I would not visit Hookers again. We got here at 2:00 pm on a Saturday in March, ordered two burgers and two Indian tacos and it took almost an hour and a half to get our food. The speaker that they use to call your name when your order is ready kept cutting out so you couldn’t hear what name they were calling. Finally, after seeing some people who ordered after us get their food, I decided to go up to the pick-up window and ask if I had missed my name being called. I got a very rude response from the lady cooking who said to me “we know how everything works around here!” Extremely rude and definitely not worth a 90 minute wait for a hamburger.
We ate here this afternoon and it was delicious. The staff was awesome. We will definitely be back.
First time to stop in today and sure won't be the last..amazing good old fashion burger...staff was very helpful and friendly..
Nice little burger joint walking distance away from all the annoying tourists/fake cowboys in The Stockyards. I ordered the double burger with fries and onion rings. The burger was great, very good flavor, grilled just right. The flavor the grilled onions give it are something that gives it a distinct taste. The shoe string fries were done just right, based on past photos I would say they have changed their fries. The onion rings were good, just cut a little too thick for my taste. Will definitely return. If a fan of the show 1883, the dining area in front of the order window/building was re-done by the show and remains if that interests you.
The food is fantastic! The staff is even better. A Fort Worth must do.
Best place ever!!! The Patty Melt and onion rings were so delicious ? My husband had the burger and it was great too. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town
Last night was our first time to eat at Hookers Grill. Wow! The burgers were delicious. The onion rings were to die for. If you go, say hi to Ruth. She’s a jewel to the Stockyards area. Her store front was part of Yellowstone’s 1883 Saga. She has some great stories.
I going to miss this place because i love telling my history living in Fort Worth all my life.
