You have to try this place. Great sushi. 1st time there. Lemon roll and the Marilyn Mon roll were great. Better still were the appetizers. Garlic edamame and green mussels were the reason to go back over and over again. Bring a sweater... it gets cold
Now it’s will be one of my favorite places to eat!Great menu with lots options, fish fresh, crab salad in a sushi has not mayo- which not make sushi greasy. Just perfect!Bulgogi was tasty as well !Definitely recommended!
We were excited to try the place and the waiter was super cool, BUT they absolutely would not substitute one thing for another. We totally get that on items that said "no substitutions", no biggie, but even on their other items they wouldn't replace something we didn't want for something we did. For that reason, we paid for our drinks and left. Putting one kind of fish on a plate we would eat in substitution for a fish we wouldn't eat is called CUSTOMER SERVICE!! You'd rather lose a paying customer??? Anyway, we went next door to the Oyster place and it was amazing, so thank you for your poor customer service!!!
Very unsatisfied. I received a tuna roll that looks like it could have been rolled better by a toddler. Completely fallen apart. Not only was the quality poor, I ordered a roll that came with 8 pieces and only received 6. I would post the pictures if I could but if the restaurant would like to look further into the issue I would be happy to send.
Had a lovely experience @ Hooked on sushi. We went during lunch before they closed for their in between shift change. We ordered their lunch special which included a salad and miso soup with the sushi rolls. It was all delicious and exquisite. We also had ice cream mochi.I am picky when it comes to Asian/Japanese food, and I can honestly say the try their best to keep it as authentic as possible. Our server was also very nice and attentive.I didn't enjoy the seating options but that's from personal troubles with my chronic pain. At least they had some cushions so it was a relief on my back!
(Added photos from similar reviews on google ) Words cannot express how horrible my experience was at this establishment, but I’ll try. I’ve been treated differently because of the color of my skin many times in my 32 years; however, this time was different.I was there with my two boys. We walked in around 06:30 pm. Behind us they sat about 4 more tables. As we sat waiting for our food, I noticed that one table had gotten their food before us. “No biggie, maybe it was a quick order.” This continued to happen over and over until everyone in the restaurant had their food except us. To the point, that the lady who came in after us but sat near us began to question the situation. I first spoke with the waiter. He said, “I don’t know what’s going on. It’s just the kitchen.” He admitted we had ordered before those other tables. He even showed me this on his hand-held machine with the order of the tickets and wait times and indeed we had been first. With this information, I asked to seek with manager. Hopefully, this could be resolved. No one came over or response to my first request. In fact, everyone on the staff except for the waiter was ignoring us. I spoke to the waiter again; he stated the wait is due to the dish. I ordered the same dish as the lady sitting across from me expect with salmon and she got chicken. I told him this as well. After requesting information and trying to figure out what was going on (we had been waiting for over an hour for out food) and receiving no response, I walked over to the stand we’re they were rolling the sushi. (Waiter had said he was in charge.) I asked in front of other the guests, what’s going on with our food. We haven’t even received soup or salad. The sushi roller was no help. In fact, he retreated to the back to dodge my complaint. I patiently waited for him to come back. I asked again. He said it was the kitchen. It was at this point that I looked around the restaurant and realized we were the only black people inside the restaurant, and we had no food. Everyone else was happily eating apps and main dishes. It was at this point that realized the incidence of their dismissal of my complaints. How the other guests were looking at me like I was some “Angry Black Women” when my complaint was more than valid while they were eating their food. The waiter, Luke, realizing the situation, came over to apologize. He was the only one in the who establishment with a shred of empathy and decency. He expressed that as a waiter he could not do anything but if he was the manager he would. I understood the sentiment. It was at this point my food and one child plate finally came out. I asked about the other child plate… and it finally followed 5 minutes later. I did not eat my food because I was completely disgusted with how I was treated, how I was made to feel and how I was ignored/dismissed. The staff continued to ignore the issue, I left my food untouched and told them I would not be paying for anything but the drinks. I left the waiter a tip and left without any resolution from the establishment. I don’t usually write reviews like this…. I take it in stride. However, there was something so different about this experience. As if the who established was in on it and it was their usual way of business. (Note: I have picture and video of the incident see my other posts)

Super clean, cool, and hip sushi place. Very friendly service and amazing and unique sushi rolls. We brought our 9 month old daughter here to try sushi for the first time. She was making a mess with the rice but the staff loved it and were so nice about it. They even gave her a cute sushi squad shirt.
This place has so many different types of rolls with a huge variety of menu items other than sushi. So much better than their original limited “Covid menu”. Yum
I Went here today and met a very Gentle Giant dude named Luke, he was so sweet and kind to me and my friends. Best server I met any where, can’t wait to see more of him. His smile is like the Sun! The food is fantastic and I love the ole reggae music.
