I've heard how good the food was here for many years and decided to visit the location since I was in the area. There was a wait in line in the drive thru. The restaurant was not open for dining in. We waited around 20 minutes before we could place our order. Once our order was placed there was another 5 minute or so wait for the food. When we arrived home, we found that the drink order for one of the orders was incorrect. The hamburgers and fries were good and of a good size. I was full after eating my meal. I would visit the location again.
Griff's is the best cheeseburger and fries in Texas. The French fries are the best fries I've ever had. Even better than the old McDonald's fries. The cheeseburgers are what I can only say we're the right seasoning were everything was a bite of pure awesomeness. I will definitely eat here everytime I'm within a 200 mile radius of Fort Worth Texas area.
My family and just left there about an hour go overall food and service was great. Only downfall my daughter asked for a milkshake and the young lady replied saying them was unable to make it do to being short stuffed and busy. That was a no go for me and my wife.
The people here are not only rude but they also over charge you! They didn't offer me a receipt for my purchase, charged me 16.89 for a #4 with an extra onion ring and up graded large drink. There's no way your order jumps from 9$ to 16.89 just by having them upgrade your drink to a large and adding a regular onion ring! The food wasn't even worth that amount! It was greesy and tasted horrible. I ended up getting diarrhea from the food on top of that!I would not recommend anyone every go there. BUT if you do make them give you a receipt, check your dang order (because it was wrong despite the lady repeating the order and a few others several times) and have pepto bismo on hand cause you will be on the dang tolit. Oh and don't even bother with a large soda or any soda for that matter as it's flat. The only thing I liked about that place was the ice that resembles sonic ice... shoot I should went there instead. At least they have better customer service, provide an automatic receipt and don't over charge you lol. Eat at this place at your own risk. Buyer beware.
Was in line for 30 min before ordered . I ordered double meat and cheese w no onions add bacon jalapenos .no meal just sandwichWhen I got home the bag had small fries and very small single patty that didn't fit bun and bacon. No jalapenos ..meat cheese bacon only. It was after 9pmYou gave me wrong orderThis location was closed for remodel.wish they kept same ingredients, cooks and standardsDon't be like the new whataburger and disappoint everytime

Griff's has been a favorite of mine since I first moved to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area in 1992. The Lancaster location just completed a remodel that took the building down to the studs...and closed for several month. They have finally reopened and of course the food is still great. I have to admit also that their soft drinks are comparable to Sonic as far as taste. The Double Giant Combo (pictured) is my favorite. Enjoy!
