Sat down for an hour until the food came. Waitress with the glitter was very nice and kind but nothing she could do to get the food out quickly. I saw three people working there all with their face breathing in my bowl before it was ready to come to me. We thought about leaving but we were too hungry and decided to wait. More employees than customers at the time of our visit.
I've dined at this location numerous times and had good service but this time was a bad experience!! We arrived way after the lunch rush and was only 4 other people dining. We had to ask for menus, waitress took so long to come back to our table each time, had to ask several times for condiments and was hardly any rice in my bowl. I had to stand and wait at the grill to give them my food because the cook was across the room talking. I was so disappointed in the way we were treated!
Pretty decent, especially if you like to change up what you eat but still want healthy options. Lots of protein choices including seafood and lots of veggies too.Only wish they had a few more sauces with less sugar. But you can basically limit how much is used anyway.Great staff and helpful. Genghis is always amazing!! You get to pick your own meat, veggies, spices, and sauce. They even have tofu if you're in to that sort of thing. I suggest you watch YouTube videos if you want bowl stacking tips. We usually end up with enough left overs for another meal.
Food was good, interesting experience. Service was good, but slow. Price was high, for what we got, but it was good. I would suggest it to anyone who enjoys Oriental food, and wants it "your-way".
I believe for most this would be a good place to eat. The service when I was there was slow but friendly enough. Not my style of eatery but what we did order was good. Over all the food is tasty but expensive and friendly enough staff. If your budget allows it eat here.
Ill start by saying ghengis is a treat for us, as we do not have one in our suburb of ftw. Visited on a weekend afternoon, prior to the dinner rush so maybe 6 occupied tables inside. Took 15 minutes to actually get seated as there was no one at the host booth. Once we were seated, another 10 minutes went by before our waitress came by to get out drink order. Another 10 minutes to get our water and bowls to go through the line. Watched our food sit on the counter top for 15 minutes before being cooked, while the manager was showing off his candy crush score to the cooks. Our food was delivered to us charred and full of grill shavings. Not what i was expecting after nearly an hour of actually being there. Absolutely unacceptable since it's $16ish a person now. Our blue haired hot mess waitress did not come by to refill drinks until she brought the check. Then as we were getting in the car to leave, we figured out why the service was so terrible! Literally every FOH employee was outside for a parking lot meeting. Mystery solved!
Busy and very slow service. Waiter did not bring our drinks until way after our food was ready. The manager talks way to much & is kind of creepy. Food is good. Table we sat at was wobbly.
The restaurant was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was superb. The drinks were delicious. I would recommend stopping by when you are in the area. We will definitely return to this establishment.
Seemed to have a staffing need for FOH. The cooks were amazing! Food tasted great, and I love the environment, nice for a no-hurry weekend lunch.Had a bit of a bump with the check, but it was sorted out. There was an excellent young gentleman server who seemed to be doing 5 jobs at once, didn't get his name, but he'll be management in no time.
