We’ve wanted to visit for a while but it never worked with our schedule (we’re from out of town). We stopped by on Sunday morning - glad we did.Employees were very friendly - everything looked tasty and it was hard to pick. We ended up getting a classic glazed, chocolate glazed, apple fritter, and a jalapeño bagel dog (as well as a coffee). The donuts and fritter were great (as expected). The real surprise was the bagel dog. It was spicy and the bagel was tasty and chewy. I really enjoyed it - I wish I had bought a couple more to take home as I’ve never had anything like it before. We’ll be back the next time we’re in town!
Sundance Square in the morning looking for a cup of Joe. The coffee was good and reasonably priced. We sat outside and enjoyed the views of downtown
While visiting, I was on the hunt for unique eatery and came across Funky Town Donuts. Very chill space and sweet staff. I partook in a Strawberry Shortcake donut which was delightful. Moist, not to sweet, it was just right. I wish I could have had a bite of them all. It would be great if they had half portions to try them all. Coffee was good. Will definitely visit again if the opportunity arises!
Delicious ? The strawberry shortcake ? doughnut was my favorite! Apple friter with pecans tasted like an apple pie ?. The Bramble Berry tart was “berry” delicious ❤️ Will definitely come back again.
I love the donuts and all the unique flavors! Such a fun spot and I love bringing new people here! Most of the girls behind the counter are super friendly and helpful! There’s one clerk who doesn’t really fit the vibe though, and always comes across as pretty rude, not only to customers but her coworkers as well. I wish I could order the unique flavors online so I could avoid such an uncomfortable interaction. With my most recent order I ordered 6 donuts and then asked for two additional donuts in the same box and she let out an audible sigh even though I told her I didn’t mind if they got squished. It’s just a shame that such a cool spot/experience has to be dampened by someone’s bad attitude.
This place claims to be vegan friendly but will only sell vegan donuts on the weekends. The one time I finally am close to Fort Worth is for work during the week, and I cant take advantage of it since I live far and am home on the weekends. Just because you serve vegan options a couple days out of the week doesn't make you vegan friendly. I cant even buy any! I'll give Cinnaholic my business, they are vegan friendly.
stop cuz this place like actually eats.. like i was like BYE cuz why is this good? like i was not expecting anyone to greet us so nicely. also yall we’re rlly spilling ? like trust me i heard what y’all were saying behind the counter ?
They have 3 vegan donuts (which coincidentally are gluten free as well) which are baked instead of fried and about the size of a small tart. Its 2.50 for one which is pretty steep. They were delicious but more like cake than a donut. I kinda wish they had vegan donuts that were actually fried.
Best service, donuts and coffee. Everyone has been so friendly and these are hands down the best donuts I've ever had. Anytime there is a fruit glaze, I jump on the opportunity. It is hard to believe how the fresh fruit flavor comes through and not an artificial one.
These donuts were really good. Light and fluffy
