This is going to become a regular spot! I needed a place to meet with a few friends, and Flips was chosen. It's a welcoming environment, mostly because of the stuffed polar bear in the entrance (no joke). There was plenty of seating, and the atmosphere was lively. Multiple bars, pool tables, taxidermied animals, etc. And the food was delicious and affordable! I also really appreciated the staff. My waitress was kind, knowledgable, and attentive. The kitchen accidentally messed up a small part of my order, and the waitress was apologetic and very fast to resolve it. I was impressed, and I will be returning!

First time coming here. Loved the atmosphere. Enjoyed finding out you can play pool for free until 3 pm. Six dollars an hour after 3 is a great price. Service wasn't buy the fish and chips were ok. The fish wasn't golden brown though more like a dark brown which to me meant the oil needed to be changed out. The fries tasted like old oil too. Was disappointed. We travel a lot and I have had fish and chips in quite a few places and the dish was always a light golden brown. We will return if we are in the area. Normally take pictures and wish I had. Will next time!

Ordered food to go through the online ordering third party they use - zing. When I was 5 minutes away, I received a strange phone call from a zing associate asking about the order, and when I arrived, the order wasn’t ready. According to the host, it turns out the order was put in just minutes before I arrived because “the tablet that gets the orders from zing falls asleep sometimes.” That seems to me like perhaps zing has to call and confirm orders….even though the confirmation email I got had an order ready time and noted that the restaurant accepted the order. It was inconvenient, but not a deal breaker for me. It seems easy enough to not use zing if it’s a known issue that the tablet falls asleep and there’s all this run around for both the customer and Flips though. The server was super nice and attentive while we waited and vibes of the place were fine. The option to sit outside on the nice patio was great!I got the impossible brand patty advertised on the website, but the patty I got was actually a beyond meat patty. The two are distinctly different in taste, texture, and price point. It’s frustrating and disingenuous to advertise a branded patty, but serve something else. A menu update is in order if you all aren’t actually selling impossible brand patties. The bistro fries and parm fries were covered in about 3 table spoons of raw garlic each, and don’t get me wrong, I love garlic, but the amount and rawness made them inedible for us. The person I ate with got a bacon ranch burger and it didn’t have much flavor. Lots of folks seem to enjoy this place and I was excited to eat here. I’m bummed because I really envisioned going here weekly to feast on delicious fries and an impossible burger. Based off of all of this though, we won’t be back, unfortunately.

We stopped in for lunch on Saturday. You get to play on their diamond pool tables for free if you lunch (11-3), so we like to go in and play a match while we eat.Sydney was our server and she was great! Really impressive service, seriously can't say enough great things about her.The food was great too, with reasonable prices. I got the hummus plate, and tortilla soup (it was a little spicy today, which i didn't mind). Other favorites include the Carnivore or the French Dip. The house-made chips that come with it are delicious. They've also got great salad options.

The food was alright except for the fries, soooo nasty, ate half of one. The server didn’t seem like she cared too much, just was delivering the drinks to us quiet with a straight face, no emotion there. It was 1.30am when they turned of the music and when I asked the hostess why when they are open till 2am we still have to hang out for another half hour in total silence , she said it’s because they are closing soon and it’s pretty much to let us know that it’s time to get out:))) wow didn’t expect that!

Was here for private event, the provided food was good the servers were quick to take your drink orders and get the drink back to your

This place always surprises me. I don't know why, but the exterior has me enter with low expectations. They have nice drink specials during happy hour. I got the blackened shrimp. A little saltier than I'd prefer but still good!

First time at flips. Service was decent, atmosphere was delightful. The place is huge. Bathrooms are comfy and spacious and pretty clean.. no lack of supplies like toilet paper and hand towels. They even added mouthwash to the mix with tiny cups so you can rinse the alcohol smell off your breath before venturing out. (Not sure what that's about) alcohol burns off at a precise rate of .016 BAC per hour” and there is no way to speed up this process, so no that mouthwash isn't going help you avoid a dwi.Besides the obvious attempt to appease an alcoholic crowd with tricks in appearing sober. (Just jokes) the place is pretty nice. One tip: avoid ordering drinks from your waiter. We ordered a pineapple Express from the kitchen and also went and got the same drink from the bar tender... the one from the kitchen was extremely watered down and terrible and the one from the bartender was ON POINT.One of the regulars there pointed this out and it was completely true. If you want drinks go to the bartender.

My absolute favorite bar, fantastic food and service. The pool tables are rental, but its only $10 an hour. Great music taste, the pretzel is a must get for me and my fiancee

I mainly come here to play pool and have a few drinks with the boys, but the few times I've ate here the food was great. The vibe is very chill and they play good music. The bartenders are friendly and attentive but some servers aren't as observant. Last time we went our server didn't offer us drinks after we've already played pool for about 30 minutes.Overall I still enjoy coming here occasionally and the prices are fair but the best time to stop by is in the summer and fall when the crowd is more livelier.
