Took wife there on Mother's Day for waffles because that's really all she wanted... she was craving them since she is pregnant. She was pretty bummed out when they said they "discontinued the waffles" ?? and then the guy who runs the place sat there ignoring the fact that we were having a problem with the skillet they brought out. It was ridiculous (see photos) ; what I could only describe as japaeno barf - it looked and tasted like they just dumped wolf brand chili on a skillet and threw cheese and an ungodly about of peppers on it (the chef could be heard throwing a tantrum in the kitchen when the waitress mentioned it... he said it was only a handful of jalapenos- he must have some Shaq sized hands). It ???????? had over 60 jalapenos (I counted) - the lady told me it came with an egg so I told her "over medium please" and then when it didn't actually have an egg included in the dish, she came out and gave me attitude (basically yelled) while the guy in charge just did nothing... Didn't even look up at the disruption and he was standing less than 10 feet away in LaLa Land; and we were the only customers besides one other old couple. This was the worst Mother's Day brunch ever. They never once offered to make it right. If I could give zero stars I would. And the bathrooms smelled like the penguin exhibit at the zoo. Filthy. I still can't get over "we discontinued waffles" - like... ??? ??????? ??'? ??? ???? ??? ??????????? ??? ?????????... ??'? ??????. Save yourself the heartache and heartburn - this place needs to just go ahead and close the doors.
Sticky floor. Unclean smell in the air especially near the bar. Sat us at a dirty greasy table. Didn't really start looking at the atmosphere until AFTER we ordered. When I asked the host to move us, she told us the waitress would be wth us as if to say she'll move you. Again this was after we ordered with the waitress. So why couldn't you just move us??? The waitress was doing other stuff so of course she didn't come move us. I'm not even sure the host even told her even though from the counter I could tell the waitress was looking our way as if she was wondering what we were talking about. I waited almost 15 min and just walked out. There were only 2 other tables with 4 people total not including me ....the rest of the place was empty and all I ordered was the panookie!!!! Nothing else and you couldn't at least simply move me while I waited on this cookie thing???? I heard my waitress ask the host did they get it. I think she was trying to check on my order and when the host responded that she didn't know thats when I gave up and decided to walk out. Maybe this was a bad night for them both cause both their attitudes were awful. I understand the hiring shortage right now maybe that played a role and they were upset from an earlier rush but cmon man. I just simply wanted to be moved to a cleaner table. Geez. ended up at another location and the experience was so much better. I gave them 5stars.
I love this place. Clean. I was greeted coming in by all the employees. Fast service. I was on a phone call when I ordered and for got to say light scrambled and they had no problem fixing. The manager on duty was helping everyone (Tracy). My waitress Sandy was right there taking care of all my needs. The best experience I ever at a Denny's. Come here to eat.
Thus place is so dirty! We were their fir an hour waiting to be seated while other customers walked in and were seated immediately. Then a half an hour wait just to get our drinks. Our server didn’t seem to want to even be their. And the manager looked clueless. The air vents look disgusting just look for your self. Horrible service. Dirty place to eat.
My wife and I arrived in a Saturday night. It was kinda dead. There were only 2-3 people working including cooks. The waitress was wearing a sweatshirt and looked like she just rolled out of bed. She wasn't very friendly either. One of the employees was in the back watching videos on his phone. It took awhile for her to come back when we were ready to order. The menu says they had flavored creamer for coffee and they only had half and half. Denny's was always kinda the second choice in town, but even waffle house would have best it this time. After sitting there a bit, we decided to get up and go somewhere else. Didn't even eat. Atmosphere just wasn't good.
Our order was messed up, eggs under cooked, ordered sausage but got bacon. They had no vanilla cream for coffee, or any biscuits. The busboy slammed his cart into our booth, started grabbing our dishes of which we grabbed back because we were still eating. He came back a second time and took my husband's silverware although he was still eating. The third time, he came back and grabbed my toast that I had laying on a clean napkin of which I told him I was not done and asked him to leave us alone, so he grabbed my grandsons plate that still had food on it. We finally just left. It was the craziest deal we've ever encountered when eating somewhere. Dennys may have lost a customer.
Love, love, love Denny's. My one problem was. It was my 11 year old daughters and we all though she could get the "Grand Slam" for Free cause it was her Birthday. We have always gone to Denny's when it someone Birthday. All I did was show my ID when it come to the Adults Birthday, but never had an problem for the kids Birthday's. When Covid-19 hit, we stop coming to the Birthday " Grand Slam". We stayed at home. We all still enjoy our food that day. Maybe I should had call first. Cause now you have to have the app. Never the less the food is "Great" there.
It was pretty good the cookie dough pancakes are smaking
The server was very good!! The food was good!! The wait was long and the man over the list was trying to put others in front of my party.
Our server was amazing, the restaurant was clean. I am not a Dennys person, my wife enjoyed her birthday slam. The amount of food for the price is well worth the visit. I had the slam meatlovers sandwich toasted perfectly flavor good, the hashbrowns to me had an Interesting after taste. My thought on any breakfast restaurant is if you have good people in the kitchen it's breakfast food, breakfast is a 24/ 7 meal that is just comforting, my sandwich my wife's food was comforting. People, food, and service were all good. Go enjoy a lot of comforting breakfast in a clean pleasant place to eat.
