So the meats were fine. We got brisket and pulled pork. However. The sides were not great. We had the potato salad which had too much onion. The green beans were fine but bland. The macaroni and cheese we think had garlic which wasn't needed. The worst was the broccoli rice casserole. We were trying to figure out what was in there. We thought maybe spicy rotel? Anyway, not a fan and won't be going again. Sorry Cousins, We were ready to like you.

Best potato salad I've ever eaten! Everything tastes delicious and the serving sizes are hearty. I was highly satisfied with my meal and I'll definitely be going back. A++. Highly recommended!

Great food and very friendly staff. If you enjoy burnt ends they have em. Just have to ask for them. If you enjoy broccoli rice, well they have that as well for a side. Ribs are fall off the bone and the rub they use has just the right amount of spice. If you order sliced brisket they will ask if you want it moist or dry. For you rookie BBQ folks, that means leave the fat on sliced brisket (moist)or (dry) cut the fat off. Best part is they are very consistent on taste and quality of their BBQ. If you leave here hungry it's your fault.

I have been going to Cousin’s for about 7 months now and I cannot believe I’ve get to leave a review. This place NEVER disappoints and the quality of customer service, food, and environment is top notch! The staff and I have a great relationship and they probably know my order as soon as I walk in. I always get the sliced brisket or jalapeño cheddar sandwich with cole slaw and broccoli casserole. The plate is worth every penny and more.Thank you, Cousin’s Bar-B-Q!

Consistency is the key with good BBQ. Knowing how to turn that brisket into a champion is a skill honed by trial, error, tears and sweat. Dedication to quality and a willingness to be a part of the community is what makes BBQ such a social environment where everyone is having a good time. Well Cousins won't disappoint. They have been feeding my family for over 25 yrs. In all those years they have only messed up my order one time and that was my fault. Family loves the sausage and mac n cheese. I love the brisket or the baker stuffed. Great sides include spicy green beans. I talked to the asst mgr on that monster burger with brisket. it's a weekly special and on my summer food list. save room for the giant chocolate chip cookies. they are by the register! Tell the Payne family for me!!!! Several other south and west side locations.

Business lunch, fellow employees ate everything they ordered and put as a top go to in DFW! Brisket, sausage, sweet ranch beans! Can’t beat it!

Ahhh, the Classic Cousin's location... here is where many a family fell in love with Bootsie's recipes for some of the BEST BBQ anywhere! So glad this one still looks like it did in my youth, same amazing food, wonderful management and staff, some feeling of true satisfaction after the meal. If you haven't been here before, give it a try, I know you'll like it.

There is no longer a line for serving but food is brought to the table. Not such a big deal but part of the experience was watching the barbecue prep. Lean meat had a fatty top that used to be cut off. Portions were smaller— i get that. Veggies were too spicy with jalapeños— green beans, broccoli/ rice, and beans. This is a big change. Portion of onions and jalapeños came on the side and we don’t eat those and did not ask for them. Still no cherry cobbler for desert. The meat for the barbecue ( once trimmed) and the sauce were still good. Just a shame to change a very good product.

Great food I love it The home made sausage is the best My son loves the ribs

I'm free to say "that was the best mofo sh÷t I have ever tasted " and thanks to my lady for making it so special and delicious!
