I had been here about 10 years ago and swore not to return, but family members wanted to go for Mother's Day and a birthday. I ordered the salmon entree, to be cooked medium. It came overcooked on the edges and raw in the middle (so medium on average?), tasteless and inedible. The server did not return until everyone was finished with their entrees so it was too late to recook it. It was removed from the bill. Being still hungry, I ordered plain "made in house" ice cream. It was almost as good as Blue Bell.

A fantastic experience on all fronts! The food was amazing, as was the service. The wine/drink selection was fabulous as well. The menu has an interesting variety steak, fish, duck, all fantastic. Our meal was cooked perfectly to order, and the portions were ideal (generous, but not huge). The restaurant has a 5"0's gas station/repair garage" vibe, but don't let that fool you -- the ambiance was lovely. We celebrated a family birthday outing, and were not disappointed ... we'll definitely be back!!

Definitely an indulgent experience but in a very chill atmosphere. The food was top notch. I had a steak and it was perfectly cooked. The cut was high quality, it didn't have any tendons or gristle. I have to say the mac-n-cheese was not as cheesy as it could be, but you can tell that's hand made pasta! It is delicious no less.I'm not a bourbon drinker, but what the chef drinks is a good drink.Very pricey place, but well worth the money. Our waiter, Brent, was excellent. Amazing service.Wondering what's the next occasion I can use as an excuse to go again.

The food was excellent. Regardless of the price, it would have been excellent. But given the relatively low price, (especially for the appetizers), it was even better. I had the bone marrow as an appetizer and the duck for for the entrée. Although I enjoyed the duck, next time I would have gone for three appetizers instead. However, the service was less than spectacular. Due to the medical need of one of the people in my party, I requested an outdoor seating. Which they agreed to. However when I arrived, I was trolled the outdoor sheeting was not available due to a private party in the room in front of the door to the patio. I was very happy to see that they made special accommodations for me quickly, I would have preferred if they would have honored my request in the first place. Although the waiter was always attentive, I could sense a tone of disappointment for having to wait on a table outside. I was especially upset when I tried to go to the restroom through the room with the private party and was physically stopped (hand on my chest) by the waiter. I didn’t feel this was an appropriate way to treat a guest especially since they had agreed to us having an outside table,

Everything we had was perfectly cooked and delicious. The service was top notch which made for a great experience. We started with the croquettes and the beef tartare and both we very good and were generous portions. The mushroom soup was full of flavor, although the temp could have been warmer and the serving was pretty small. The wedge salad was tasty but not the best I’ve had. The pork shank was falling off the bone and melt in your mouth tender. The presentation was beautiful and the serving with smoked Gouda grits was very generous. Loved the salmon with a crispy skin. It was cooked to medium rare and was perfect. I didn’t love the lentils they were served with, but the salmon was so delicious I didn’t really care. Finished with a bread pudding. The wine list is extensive and there are many great tequila and bourbon options. Prices were fair for the quality of food and service.

My wife and I love this restaurant. We have Clay Pigeon in our rotation of restaurants that we return to. Their menu changes often but everything I have had from cocktails to appetizers to entrees have been very good. I had the 8oz ribeye last time and it was a very juicy and tasty cut.

Excellent service, food was pretty good. The salmon paste on the Charcuterie Board was not good at all. The steak more than made up for it. Though the off menu steak was more flavorful and superbly prepared.

I took family-5 well-travelled adults-to dinner the other night. Clay Pigeon was suggested by my daughter, who’d dined here before and liked it, but also because outdoor seating was available. We wanted to eat outside due to the Omicron Covid surge and because my wife is immune-suppressed. Clay Pigeon is located in a sketchy area. Luckily, valet parking was available. And, while outside tables were available (with portable propane heaters, which we didn’t need during an unusual December heat wave), there is no charm and loud hot rods come roaring by every few minutes. Our server, Eileen, was terrific-enthusiastic and eager to please, plus she made some wonderful recommendations. We had many dishes-the pork shank, the steak frites, Brussels Sprouts, Flounder, Tomato Basil Soup, Roast chicken, salads, plus wine and beer and three shared Bread Puddings. Our dinner was good. Salads (the citrus one especially) and the Brussels Sprouts were highlights. But, overall, I was surprised by the high prices. I’ve spent most of my adult life in and around Manhattan and I’d have thought this was not good value even there, so that was surprising. $40 for steak frites and $70 for an 8 oz rib eye (not a filet) with sides extra in Texas far from a prime location caught everyone’s attention, as did $34 for home made pasta.

We had a lovely meal of appetizers! The mussels were huge and delicious and the butternut squash with ham fritters with cranberry relish were really amazing. Dessert was a light and airy olive oil cake with a caramel sauce.

I wish I had taken a photo of my food once it arrived but I was so hungry I immediately started to devour my steak. This place is quite fancy, everything served to us looked just as beautiful as it tasted. I'd definitely love to go back sometime.
